My birthday is the last day of the month and I've been afraid of that date since last year.

Maybe because there are things I should have that I don't have but it really doesn't make sense, why am I scared?

I'd like to hear from those who are of age, do you get scared of getting older?

Funny thing is, my unofficial age is 2 years + my real age. I have an unofficial age for mischievous reasons.

Age is below 30.

It scares me because it is one year taken away from the number of years I have left on this planet.

I don't. I saw my first grey hair days ago and I felt bad somewhat. Age is catching up and there are so many thing I still want to do. So many dreams yet unfulfilled. It is well

Like sands in the hour glass, you cannot stop the tides of time from washing over you. Rather, you must embrace it and make your peace with it. Make each day count for something worthwhile. Na the reason why I no dey too answer mumu posts again. They are a waste of precious time and energy. They are useless in the scheme of things.

Why? When it will definitely catch up with you as long as you're still alive. I assume my age the moment we enter a new year even before my birth month comes.

I ain't scared of shit because it's something that is beyond every mortals control. So why add on grey hairs by worrying over it?.

The most important thing is to give your life to Christ. At least you know there's a better place you'll go to after here, where you will never grow old. Christ in me, the hope of glory. Anyone without Christ is the most miserable and will worry themselves to death over such things.

When I was 15, I used to be scared that one day I'll be above 20! Like I sometimes had sleepless nights!

But as I got closer, I realised that one should always do the right thing everyday, because everyday is a decision making day. By doing this you will arrive at your older age with peace of mind and probably Al the material and sustenance you need while your time lasts.

Lol better get used it, growing old is natural , soon you will feel it more, that marriage you want to avoid, you will clamour to it. Being old and lonely is bad feeling, humans need emotional support and responsibilities to able to have meaning in their life. Because Death awaits us all. Enjoy your youth, advance in life and settle down and raise a family. Else you'll just be living a pointless life. Marriage is good it has benefits

It's something to look forward to.

NO IT DOESN’T. In fact, I LOVE OLD AGE and I look forward to menopause.

I have made peace with the changes that come with it and also death. It is all a cycle of life. I am not scared of aging, I am not scared of dying.

I love the older me and I love the friends I have made in my old age. I love some decisions I have made, I hate some and I am correcting some. In all, I am more concerned with quality of life and love, makes it easier to enjoy old age.

I understand I am getting older and I watch the things that go into my body because I don’t want to be sicky-sicky, I just wanna sleep and have a peaceful transition. If you know what I mean...

Recently I don’t eat a lot of things and everyone is shocked, like when did this one start. I used to be someone that loves skimpy wears, anyone that knows me would know this, but now all my miniskirts and bum shorts are just there. I do more of maxi gowns now.

I am more confident in my natural looks. I haven’t worn makeup in months, decided to glam up last week and once again, I was asked if all is well. All is well na!

There is nothing wrong with aging, it is a blessing, except of course the person wants to die young- as we all know there is no in between. Embrace it.

This is the Proof that you do not have "Extra Life" or Eternal life.

All you have is this life (as Solomon also warned) and your soul is warning you that if you do not acquire "Life", you will soon loose this life you have.

That is why you fear getting old or dying suddenly, for you are trying to save this life, but as God has Warned "You will lose it"!
