This quote is from that soap opera abi telenovella; 'Days Of Our Lives'.
They always start with an hour glass...., watched some , not all. Got tired of their funny dubbed voices.
I don't think I watched more than three episodes in all. Life as depicted in all these soaps is just too tedious and complicated.

Are sure the voices were dubbed? DOOL is an American soap

That you're afraid of growing old does not mean another person is.

Fear is not on everyone's face, except those without God.

Imagine these:
Most people are afraid of living and of growing old, yet they're afraid of death.
Most people are afraid of being alone, yet afraid of being married. And it goes on....
Do you not see? It never ends.
Fear is of torment, but only God's perfect love can cast out fear.

Let me tell you how to overcome your fears:
Establish a relationship with God, discover what your true purpose is in life, quit worrying about anything and living under pressure (living like life is a race), and watch your fear fizzle out.
You'll begin to enjoy every moment of your life.
You will never be moved by anything.

Sister Mariah, I have indeed most humbly found that place where "God banished from me the spirit of fear, Replacing with the power of Power, Love and a sound mind!

Oh, I thought it was southern American.
They usually dub.

Sorry for that.

I was definitely created, that's a fact. I know I didn't just ' pop' into existence. But my question is: if God created me; who created God?

Wrong question!

Perfume can not ask and should not be asking another perfume, who created you.

How can the perfume know? It too is like you.

Classic Chicken and egg question, it never ends.

Yep, because it is not possible for a creation to know beyond its creation like your phone discovering that you were born, whosai! Impossible!

To me, God exist but he's aloof.

Men rejected Him, as a girl you loved rejects you, is it not natural that after consistent rejection, He shall stay away and Must stay Away?

Sis, I have been in the canvas, mud and all with that guy, He Hates God like earthworms hates salt eh.

Seriously, Everything about God and the Bible peppers his soul, so as you said "...Only God's perfect love can cast out fear.", So how is he not going to be afraid?

Get older or die young. Choose whichever one scares you less. I’m happy to grow old.

You seem to want us to go back to our previous state. You've been pushing the buttons. Don't cry crocodile tears when the claws come out. This is your final warning.

Nope. I can't be afraid of what I can't control. Think of it as a natural process. We can't live forever.

Re: Does Aging Scare You? by Deicide: 10:10pm On Mar 02, 2021
This is also like asking if we are scared of death. Well I don't think anyone is afraid of death per say what we really scared of is people around us dying.
Re: Does Aging Scare You? by Traininghub(f): 10:17pm On Mar 02, 2021
No, I have always looked younger than my age and do believe I ways will (a mindset I have always had). However, I am forever conscious of the fact that death is inevitable.
I am constantly (if not everyday) reminded that I am a day closer to the grave. I wish death didn't exist, regardless, having Christ in my life gives me great hope that eternity will be blissful for me.

Give your life to Christ if you haven't.
Shalom.

NO IT DOESN’T. In fact, I LOVE OLD AGE and I look forward to menopause. grin

I have made peace with the changes that come with it and also death. It is all a cycle of life. I am not scared of aging, I am not scared of dying.

I love the older me and I love the friends I have made in my old age. I love some decisions I have made, I hate some and I am correcting some. In all, I am more concerned with quality of life and love, makes it easier to enjoy old age.

I understand I am getting older and I watch the things that go into my body because I don’t want to be sicky-sicky, I just wanna sleep and have a peaceful transition. If you know what I mean...

Recently I don’t eat a lot of things and everyone is shocked, like when did this one start. I used to be someone that loves skimpy wears, anyone that knows me would know this, but now all my miniskirts and bum shorts are just there. I do more of maxi gowns now.

I am more confident in my natural looks. I haven’t worn makeup in months, decided to glam up last week and once again, I was asked if all is well. All is well na!

There is nothing wrong with aging, it is a blessing, except of course the person wants to die young- as we all know there is no in between. Embrace it. cheesy

let me marry u now,

Nature favours me, phenotypically and genotypically. I'll age gracefully as an African, most importantly as a vegetarian.

Age is a number.... more important is if you appear older than your age... and that has a lot to do with your lifestyle. By age 25.... you will notice some of your classmates looking like grown married men with several children... low paying job and a nagging wife. Should you be practising moderation in whatever you do... as you grow older you will be proud of yourself and age.

Use to scare me until I learnt about Entropy, Chaos theory and complexity theory.

The only benefit of being youthful is ENERGY, the moment your bones begins to loose strength, tired out and frail — then, "you would rely in your voice" (As Albert Einstein puts it),

When you die, it's really nothing extra ordinary, it's just a total loss of Energy and the body decays to zero state.

Death don't scare me, it might infact be a blessing.
