[DailyTrust] — In Minna(Garatu) : Kwarai of feet size yam tubers from 45k to 18k — In Jos (Barkin Ladi, Anpam West ), bag of arish potatoes from N17K to N9k. [UnityFm Jos] — In Kano : farmers went to d extent of unsuccessfully trying to use the airport to move food down south. [Nairaland] —In Abuja : the DSS was inviting herders to settle the issue (DailyTrust). — In Bauchi (Til De Fulani) , farmers were promoting unity (North & South) —On some media, Millions were lost to food transported to other countries frm North. At the end, the Northerners who singlehandedly declared the blockade, called it off. They gloriously lost the war! They need us more than we need them. Don't worry when they return down south to resume their businesses we will all give them terms and conditions, if they won't sell a basket of tomatoes for the price of #300 in the south they should catapult themselves with their foodstuffs back to the north we won't buy again. Let's show these people that they're nothing without us. If the fulanis won't sell one full cow for the price of 50k let them take it back to the north, after all they are acquiring free lands which they are using for grazing. They only took pity on south west The northerners I know don't sell to make much profit They are honest people , they wouldn't mind to sell a big basket of tomoto for a N20 profit and will still add extra pieces for you. The so-called northern region of Nigeria has gone down on the canvas in the first round. If I had to bet, no cent of mine will be placed on northern region. Ordinary Boko Haram insurgency has seen a rash of steady raise of malnutrition cases in IDP camps across all the nooks and crannies of northern region. |
