Your list includes the massacres and genocide that lead up to the civil war events that yoruba media spearheaded and setup Igbo's to be killed in Numbers. Was it not Yoruba press that tag the Coup an Igbo Coup regardless of its ethnic composition?

Was it not same yoruba media and a yoruba cartoonist that used a Bread label in the North and labelled the devil Ahmadu Bello and the Angel an Igbo man which sparked up major killing up north? Was it not a Yoruba Colonel that supervised the Asaba massacre.

Many of the Crisis mentioned Post-Civil war were Religious or Political and Southerners were the target not Igbo's however Igbo because of their numbers would feel it's impact more does not mean these events had Igbo's as the main target.

In your Yoruba craftiness and treachery you even listed events in which yorubas took the major blow and were the main target of the crisis and summed them all as Igbo massacres in the North, In coming weeks watch how yoruba media will spin the food Blockage and say it was targeted against the East, when yorubas start their Unity begging consultation like FFK have already begun.

The event that saw corpers massacred had yorubas bearing the most casualties and the rest of the victims shared among the rest of the Southern part of the country this is the yoruba treachery and craftiness where you people keep lying and setting up other ethnic groups for conflict and to fight your own battles then you take the back seat and excalate it using your media to demonise one group over the other like you are currently doing to Hausa-fulani now and like you did to Igbo's in the past.

If the above crap is what you had in stock as a measure of debunk, you do not belong to this discussion. It is silly and funny that any riot in northern region of Nigeria had been branded as against Igbo riot. For example the Jos 1945 riot which was between British colonialists and Tin miners trade unionists.

Are you still peddling falsehood as your forbearers did? In fact, Kano riot of 1953 was targeted at Awolowo and Action Group due to Anthony Enahoro's proposal for Nigerian independence in 1953. The riot was mainly pitted between the northerners and southerners. Again the cowards from southern region of Nigeria were quick to brand it a riot against Igbo.

The list of this ethnic genocide/ Massacre in the west is Endless but let me Take a break here Note i limited my resource to Lagos alone and not SW in General also time from 1999-2002 and 2016-2019, I have a longer list but that is not the aim of this thread and i do not wish to derail my thread.

The Clashes were mostly between;
Yoruba's and Hausa's
Yorubas and Ijaws

The death toll range from 100 - 750

I think Hausa's should have some sort of security in the west they have really suffered in the hands of westerners Shaha is childs Play compared to what i Saw
Ijaws and fulani's However dealt OPC a Heavy blow in all their encounters, Ijaws also suffered heavy loss, fulani's are few but hold their ranks well.

Thanks for making me research on this i learnt a lot.

Igbo's does ESN have a Lagos Chapter? Or Bakassi we will be needing it. OPC does not play they massacre both pregnant women, children and innocent bystanders Ijaws have Egbesu in Lagos, those guys are not playing in Ajegunle or Ikorodu.

Yoruba Ethnic Clashes
Ketu / Mile 12 Market, November 25 and 26, 1999
Alaba Market, July 2000 Igbo traders\ OPC
Ajegunle, September 1999 OPC VS Egbesu (The fight that reset OPC brain in Ajegunle)
Ajegunle, second clash occurred about one year later, in October 2000
Idi-Araba, February 2 to 4, 2002
Agege Abbattior, Dec 2000
Suru-Alaba, Jan 2001
Yaba, December 2001 Igbo\ Yoruba
Apapa Wharf and Tin can Port, Sept 1999 Igbo/yoruba
Mushin, Dec 1999 OPC clash with Akala youth
Mushin, Jan 2000 Akala youth Retaliate
Ijora Estate, 2000
Sagamu, July 1999
In 1999 at least ten police stations were attacked by the Yorubas, including those in Okota, Alakara, Mushin, Area B, Apapa, Apapa Wharf, Sango, Ifo, Isolo, and Idiroko.
Idi-Araba, 5 Feb 2002
Okokomaiko, 2000
Ketu, 2000
Abule Egba, Oct 2000
Mushin, October 2010
Bariga, Febuary 2021 OPC members allegedly beat man to death
Okobaba Ebute Metta, Nov 2019
Ojodu Berger, December 2019
Ewedogbon, a Ijaw riverine community in Igando-Ikotun, June 2016
Oshodi, September 2016
Oshodi, 2017 OPC vs Nurtw
Ikorodu, July 2016 Yoruba Vs Ijaws

Let me mention here that while most of these fight were not directed at Igbo, Igbo's Lost heavily as many Igbo business were looted by Yorubas in every single act of violence listed above, Not one Igbo store excape looting in any of the event listed above.

Also i did not mention the numerous Ladipo Clashes so that my western neighbors don't feel bad or think we are Claiming Lagos. I know west will not forget in a hurry what happened in the Last election in Okota. Igbo's do not tolerate rigging of elections.

I have previously tried to educate you but you still dwell in your western media lies those events were Political and religious, Igbo's are proud Christains like many other Southerners it is only in the west that your decietful nature keeps you people religiously swinging like a pendilum. So you deny you religion out of fear while the Igbo man courageously defends his, it has nothing to do with Igbo/ Hausa or Igbo/ Fulani you will also claim the Miss world riot was also Igbo/ North as you listed it up there.

Lol!!! I don’t have time to write epistle. The rest of the world agreed that Igbos are good at nothing but lies hence what you got in civil war without help from those that matter.

In recent months, i can’t count how many times Yorubas elders have screamed about Nigerian Army activities in Igbo land but no Igbo young or old or association have call for peace when it comes to Yoruba wellbeing.

Keep wishing us bad while we triumph as usual. If you don’t like it, go back to your erosion ravaged region

You are a very ignorant nincompoop, apart from the 1966/67 progroms and the civil war, none of the crisis you listed was targeted at the igbos, you just padded your list with every christian vs muslim clashes in northern Nigeria. Even laughable is you adding some inter ethnic clash among northerners on the list e.g Zango Kataf, Jos and mubi crisis that was between warring northern tribes and had absolutely nothing to do with Igbos, even the 1953 kano crisis you listed was a protest against the visit of Awolowo and his Action Group members. Anybody who grew up in the north reading this pathetic list of yours will be looking at you as a fool now. FYI those christian vs Muslim clashes claim victims along religious lines and not tribal lines hence you will find victims from every tribe who are christians or muslim on the casualty list. I can tell you the history of every single one of those crisis you listed and there was nothing tribal about them, many yorubas of both religions lost their lives in those crises. You even added the killings of youth corper's over the 2011 elections where many of the corpers killed were your Yoruba brethren. What of the madalla Christmas bombing? What did that have to do with Igbos? You are very pathetically ignorant.

You are a first class ignorant Mumu, none of this crises you listed were targeted at Igbos, not even one. The 1953 kano crisis you listed was even a protest against the visit of Awolowo and his Action Group members. And the picture of orji kalu kneeling down with others was at his own house when he was joined by Geoffrey Onyema the current minister of foreign affairs to celebrate the Christ the King feast, an annual celebration by the Catholic church.

You can see how ignorance and feeding on lies has turned you into a first class sophisticated morron, go and get informed first before posting your ignorant garbage and disgracing your generation on nairaland.

Mrnairalandd:

Finally
The world knows what? The same world that fought tooth and nail to make Madam Okonjo WTO Director, the first and only woman in the world to gracefully sit there.

Do I also mention that Madam Oteh another Igbo woman also heads at the world bank or need i remind you that an Igbo man also sit at the helms of ICC, even if you are not into literature Chimamanda is no stranger on the world stage and needs no introduction, no woman in all of black Africa comes close close.

What the world knows is that Igbo's are global assets, trends setters, economy drivers and cannot afford to loose our wealth of experience and knowledge in a society where merit thrives over nepotism and injustice the only driving factor of yoruba's in Nigeria and locally.

You mean the call by Afenifere? The same groups Yoruba's love to hate because of their collaborations with Ohanaeze and Ndigbo, guy please, you must think Igbo's are fools, Igbo's know fake love when they see one and that is why we did not support PMB not because he is Fulani but because we could smell his bias from the Niger bridge and boy we were right.

As for hating the yoruba's you know that is the biggest lie Igbo's don't have capacity to hate like I said in a previous post the only people with capacity to hate are yorubas. As for growth and social development no tribe, group or people have developed more than Igbo's in the last 50 years check the indices, education, health, wealth, wealth creation, security, Human Capital Development, also, check our cities.

Bro wake up and smell the coffee Yoruba's are still at sagamu trying to catch a bus to year 2000 Igbo's on the other hand are in 2021 good luck trying to catch up. I will be expecting pictures of Lagos with Igbo assets in it, while you neglecting the rest of your dilapidated cities, Good luck.

Note: As for going back to our erosion ravaged land that will not happen your father's fought to keep us in one Nigeria so their Children must learn to live with our excesses, if we shit for ground you pack it with songs of praise. Lagos is our 6th Igbo state that was what Awo signed up for bear with your forefathers.

Since you have decided to be unfortunate, i ll ensure the necessary nails needed on your concrete casket to bury you and your fellow hate-personified Igbos are made available in this write up.

Before i dive deep into what you started, permit me to burst your bubbles by saying Igbos have always remain inconsequential in the scheme of things in Nigeria hence your relegation to 3rd class citizen in this great country where you could only aspire to be this or that in hopelessness.

Self glorification has done more harms to your entire erosion and poverty ridden region than good, so pls spare us all that jargons about what you have been able to achieve even though you r claiming that the same Nigerians hate you Igbos so much when opposite is the case.

Ngozi Iwealla you said! Ok! Let’s dig into it! It takes the same Buhari and his kinsmen you and your fellow Igbo men hate with passion to put that incompetent woman where she is today. If Buhari govt had stood against her nomination in the first place just like Donald Trump did, trust me, being in that position would have remained a mere mirage to that woman who not only destroyed our economy beyond repairs but ensured that our economy was buried just before she was kicked out alongside Mr cluelessness called Badluck Jonathan.

As for Ms Oteh, let’s set the record straight right here now. The record is there in our archives to bisect and dissect, and i won’t waste my time to lecture you over what you should have taken your time to read, research and digest. However, i presumed tribalism has eaten deep into you so much that you couldn’t differentiate your left from your right. Anyways, Igbos and tribalism are like 5 & 6. You are well known for it around the world as the most tribalistic people on earth.

You migrate in your millions to the west but the Westerners-Yorubas who feel you tribalistic Igbos have nothing to offer them, so tell me who is the boss here. It’s like a Nigerians telling USA citizen that Nigeria is better than USA economically when it’s Nigerians migrating to USA not the other round. The same thing is applicable here where Igbos are migrating out of poverty in the East to the West. Yorubas only migrate to only Western Countries hence huge population of Yorubas in UK, US, Australia, Canada and of course Ireland.

Finally, i won’t be mentioning Yoruba citizens who are occupying world organisations here cos i have got no time. Do the research yourself!

As for Lagos development and others, lmao! Lol!!! We decided to teach you a lesson last year by ensuring all your children in Lagos are given no other option than to learn Yoruba language in Primary schools in all our primary school across the state. We even went further to pass Yoruba language as our only official language in our state Assembly and primary schools. What you gonna do G? Lol!!! Tomorrow, we might decide to move you to Ore and nothing ll happen...

As for real Estate in Lagos state, pls go on YouTube and check things for youselves, you ll realise that 99% of real estates in Lagos are privately owned by the Yorubas. Pls don’t hesitate to do your research on this. Abuja is not even left out... Can you see what Yorubas are doing since they have decided to invest in Nollywood-English? Have you seen Music industry too?

Oga! Hawking fake Chinese products and selling Lacasara do not mean Igbos own shit anywhere outside their erosion and poverty ridden region
