Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has expressed that popular Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi should be in jail for allegedly stoking ethnic tension.
Omokri accused President Muhammadu Buhari of nepotism, saying that was the only reason the Islamic cleric is not in jail. Omokri made this statement in reaction to a reported attack of bandits on a military base in Katsina.

“SHEIKH GUMI, BANDITS JUST KILLED AN UNSPECIFIED NUMBER OF @HQNIGERIANARMY SOLDIERS IN KATSINA. DO YOU SEE THE RESULT OF YOUR TELLING BANDITS THAT CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS ARE KILLING THEM JUST TO ‘IGNITE CRISIS’. IF NOT FOR @MBUHARI’S NEPOTISM, YOU SHOULD BE IN JAIL.”

I'm urging every security personnel to disobey any direct order asking them to go to zamfara to fight banditry. it's obvious the state govt there are not willing to end the menance while the f.g on its own hand is being insincered.

imagine a state govt opposing military actions against banditry and would still come to cry back to the f.g when they are being attacked.
