Izzy should stay at middle weight. The difference is clear.
Jan is too big for Adesanya. He struggled to break down Blacho.

Jan is fat as ____ and basically sat on Izz and tapped him while pretending to fight. Apparently, the judges think that deserves points. I thought they stopped rewarding that scam.

But Izz isn't used to fighters at this weight. He needs to use bigger guys in training. It's not like he doesn't have the skill and strength. He's just not used to sumo wrestlers.

It was a power vs technique. Jan is bigger, stronger and more powerful. Izzy is known for his technique, speed and intelligence but he failed to apply those in this fight.

Did you watch the fight?? Jan isn’t fat. The guy is simply much stronger. Izzy’s technique did not work in this fight. Even without the 2 takedowns, the fight was even.

Yea, but am proud of him. The guy too was scared. If blow to blow, Izzy would have won

The fight was a mismatch from the onset, a classic case of power vs technique, and sheer physical strength won at the end more than anything else. Adesanya will surely rebound stronger from this but he should fight within his weight category abeg.

Listen to yourself, he was gassed by the end of the 3rd round and Izzy found it difficult to beat a guy who was that tired...

What does that tell you?

He was tired by end of 3rd round...yes there was heavy breathing all over but how come Izzy didn’t take advantage of his fatigue?

He was gassed yet had enough to take Izzy down in the 5th round.

It’s real in there. Congrats to both men. They are warriors. It takes lots of training and courage to get in there. Izzy is an intelligence guy otherwise he would’ve been knocked out during one of those take downs.
