Secondly, for those of you that were posted to far distance, how did you go about your loggage, since they said stuff like laptop won't be allowed into the camp.

I'm not saying I want to. That's the purpose of the thread... To ask where and how I could keep them outside the camp. I can't spend almost 20k on tfare because of laptop naa

you can bro if you know how to hide stuff very well. truth is that those soldiers don't have that luxury of time to check bag thoroughly cos of the long queue of PCM they still have to check. what they do is to ask you to open the bag then use hand to feel the side and bottom with visual inspection. Another thing you can do is to locate a shop or business very close to the camp, get the contact of the business owner and drop stuff u won't need with him/her maybe with a fee so person can secure your item for you

I was already considering dropping the system at home, and asking them to waybill it after camp. I feel this would give me peace of mind. Or what do you think?
