The money can’t be returned to Delta state because the UK government already made it clear it must be tied to a federal project before it can be released.

Btw, the Delta state government can’t claim the money because they told the UK court clearly during the trial that the money doesn’t belong to them and government’s money was not missing or stolen. On that basis, the UK government will never agree to returning the money to the same Delta state government that made such a silly claim in court.

He was not even sentence to any prison here in Nigeria, rather some foolish people whose destiny has been use to eat kolanut and ogogoro gather aso-ebi to welcome the thief back home from prison.
