100,000,000.00 GBP = 52,708,232,193.63 NGN

Is 52.7bn Naira not 527 bn naira. But still, damn.

That money should be returned to Delta state

THIS SHOULD BE AN EYE OPENER TO DELTA STATE.

Apart from this funds that Britain is making arrangement to return to the Nigeria government.

There is also the issue of the Nuhu Ribaudu bribe case where Chief Ibori attempted to bribe Ribaudu but he failed as Ribaudu refuse to take the money and instead he reported Chief Ibori.

At the end $15 million us dollar was lost by the Delta state government being fund looted by Chief Ibori to bribe Ribaudu.

The federal government took the money and deposited it into the coffers of the central bank.

IT IS REALLY AN UNFORTUNATE SITUATION.

Today Chief Ibori is living a painful life style as the money he was banking on had been seized from him.

When will Nigeria politicians learn to serve the common man.

OUR COLLECTIVE COMMONWEALTH had become their feeding bottles.

The fact remains that Ibori was very wealthy before he became a governor. Do not be like the ostrich burying your heads in the sands. Imagine the double standard maybe they have something against Ibori. He should join APC like Jonatha is doing for the sake of the monies confiscated in his wife account.......ye ye dey smell

Uhmmm, massive industrialisation is what sustains the UK, dont be decieved too. By the way, I'm not sure how these fit into the bizarre exchange rate of £1 to over N5000 .

The money can’t be returned to Delta state because the UK government already made it clear it must be tied to a federal project before it can be released.

Btw, the Delta state government can’t claim the money because they told the UK court clearly during the trial that the money doesn’t belong to them and government’s money was not missing or stolen. On that basis, the UK government will never agree to returning the money to the same Delta state government that made such a silly claim in court.

for the first time, I'm forced to agree with you

Why didn't they shoot this man dead already if Nigerians truly hate stealing, but someone that stole N500 or food to eat will be lynched by mob?

Nigerians should never let anyone from the lineage of this animal get into power again because stealing runs in the blood. What a wicked soul! The money that he stole alone is enough to transform some countries in Africa into a modern prosperous society. Imagine, only one man o. You can only imagine how much the PDP canker worms have stolen from this country

He was not even sentence to any prison here in Nigeria, rather some foolish people whose destiny has been use to eat kolanut and ogogoro gather aso-ebi to welcome the thief back home from prison.

When the people refuse to learn and change from their evil ways, the Bible says God will use their enemies to torment them.

So you mean the man is no longer in prison?

These man and pdp Delta State have stolen enough money for 4 generations, but it will not even pass over to the next generation, ie Ojukwu’s father richest man in Africa, his son squandered the money on a senseless war fighting a country.
