Hello, Good morning everyone.
Pls, I will appreciate it if someone can answer these questions. I know they might have been answered severally. Pls, pardon me.
1) How much is the current visa fee and biometrics for adults and kids for visiting visa.
2) Must I apply with my company statement of account or can I use my personal account. I have my company documents and tax clearance but I don't have a company account. I use my personal account.
3) Must I fill the education section of the application form or is it for students?
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by dapsalmy: 1:49pm On Mar 01, 2021
It's lowkey to your advantage that your personal bank account statement is the string one with transactions going in and out. The fee for visa and biometrics is c$185, apply with your personal account, but submit your company documents too in the business owner documents section. You should fill the education section, it's compulsory.

Good Morning,
Thanks for the reply...
My company was registered 2019 and a limited liability...

I dont know what the tax clearance will look like?
The company has a company account and not much business has been done with it...

Please advice on how I will go for tax and if the tax will be much...

Thanks
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by emeldamicheals: 7:37am On Mar 02, 2021
Well, it depends on how much that has entered the company account. That will determine how much u will pay. I think there is an advantage if u have used it for any government contract and the money was paid into that account.
I have a business name and a Limited Liability but I only pay tax on my biz name cos am also scared of how much the LTD will cost me at this point considering its been years. Truth be told, I only pay my yearly tax cos of visa purposes.
Usually, there is a 3 years free tax clearance or so given b4 you start paying tax but that is if u haven't done any transaction or started your biz but the tax clearance will carry NIL NIL NIL. I don't know if u can use such tax clearance for visa purposes.
Whatever the case may be, it can be worked on.
Just get an auditor. If u don't have any. U can go to FIRS in your area and see if they recommend any to you. You may see auditors there self. They are the ones to advice you better.
If you are in Abuja, I can give you my auditor's Number.

Thanks a lot for your response

Update:

We sent mumsy PP last week Friday to Lagos VFS.

It got there 2 days ago.

Today we got an email that it arrived at VFS Abuja and another email that it was being sent to IRCC. 1 hour later we got an email that the passport is with IRCC and under processing.

I guess, Lagos is backed up, hence the need for Abuja.

UpDate: I just checked gckey now, there is a document number and expiry date. I guess passport is stamped.

Hi folks,

For those whose parents recently got their visas, did you apply for letter of authorization?

A parent of a citizen/PR doesn't need an authorisation letter, just has to travel with proof of the relationship amongst other required docs.
I think if a student then the letter is required.

Within a week it should be with VFS. Then VFS will contact you.

They just contacted us yesterday to make payment for courier services.

Good morning my people. Please I am in Canada as a PR and in the process of applying for visitor visa for my dad.

First, do we need to buy health insurance and submit as part of documentation. Someone told me he bought.

Secondly, will my dad need a police clearance certificate for visiting visa?

I will be sponsoring 100 percent. He won't be submitting his statement of account. What do I need to show that I will be responsible for his visit

Lastly, someone told me to book flight ticket and submit as part of the documentation. Is this necessary. That's why I came here to find out.

Biko, help me o
Thanks as I anticipate replies

1. No
2.No
3. Letter of introduction, your pay stub and statement. Also write a brief LOE, that you will be in charge of his expenses and accommodation.
4. Nope not needed. In fact you are always advised not to buy any ticket until your visa is approved. However, in his LOE, he can explain his itinerary.

The above was what we did for my mum and she got approved.

What’s the expiry date of her passport? They’ll usually issue visa based on the expiry date of the passport except things have changed sha

For those waiting for the tracking number from VFS (if you did one way courier), it is easier and faster to contact them using the chat option on their website. It took literally 2 minutes to get connected to a help desk associate and as soon as I provided the VFS tracking Id, she gave me the UPS tracking number.
