Chelsea on the other hand has never really looked like a team that is deteriorating, except under Lampard's management but the board was smart enough to realize this and they had to axe him. Chelsea looks like a team which will only get better and TT is already looking like the one who will set the ball rolling.

How is that a sign of deterioration? It's not like Chelsea was winning trophies every season. They were basically competitors and gave other top teams tough times. Right now, it's not like the players in the team are really that bad. They only needed a coach who understands the game and it's looking like they found that in TT. The likes of Drogba, Lampard, Terry etc were classic players in their time but the truth is you can't have a team with the same quality of players as time goes on, Barcelona is a perfect example. For me, Chelsea isn't looking so bad at the moment. I believe they need time under TT who's a coach that knows the game pretty well.
