Imagine that. 18 communities resources being used to serve one giant refinery. If it was up to PHCH, they will be getting only 3 transformers and average of 6 hrs power supply a day.

Dangote will so deal with Nigerians ehn, una go smell pepper. This refinery is the worst thing that will ever happen to Nigerians, people just don't know it yet.
If you doubt me, how much was sugar and cement before dangote's monopoly, how much are they now?

The reason dangote succeeds is because there is weak enforcement of Anti-Trust and competition law in Nigeria. The day we enforce competition law in Nigeria, Dangote is finished. How would someone buy up cement companies and shut them down because you don't want them to rival your inflated priced cement?
and dangote would come as the messiah grin grin grin grin grin grin......Yorubas would say what is behind 6 is more than 7. This is surely a greek's gift. Dangote should just buy Nigeria Jare...............Dangote dictates the price of cement, now he has finally gotten a hold of petroleum......What this means is Dangote would soon be controlling the economy directly.

That refinery is more important to Nigeria than 18 communities, even hundred communities or even one state in Nigeria. The economic benefits in terms of Job creation, Oil product prices, etc.
There's no economic benefits to this refinery, the price of fuel will still be expensive. At most this refinery will employ 10 thousand people, which it already did.

What Nigeria government could not do... An individual did it.... Does it mean that our leaders does not have any plans before coming into government? shame

Gbam!
Please,go and find out if they ever present any 'Blue Print' for coming to govt.
Same goes for those who are scheming for power, like Atiku,Tinubu,Tambuwa,El-Rufai,Kwankwaso,Wike,etc.
Truth, the so called leaders in Nigeria are just cruising. How many of them can be like Alh.Lateef Jakande or Murtala Muhammed in Nigeria, that withing a short period, monumental achievements were recorded, with Peace and Prosperity?

I love this govt tactics..................Increase fuel price as high as possible so dangote can sell at a lower price than current market price just to justify the reduction in price for producing locally .............

Lol... rEaD mORE bOoKS on h0w tO bE a sUcCeSsfUL bUsInESs mAN....lmao.

The government issued licenses for little modular refineries produce at a really small scale but gave a highly subsidized loan and support to dangote to build and construct a single refinery in one location that would meet the petroleum needs of Nigeria and would still remain for exports... virtually making dangote the largest producer giving him a monopoly over price because he can easily crush the small modular guys because he produces x100000 of what they would produce combined... it's either you're ignorant or you're a mallam but I won't drag this argument any further.
Dangote wasn't the only one who got those subsidised loans and support from govt; all those building refineries today also got similar favours cos building a refinery (which successive regimes have been unable to do) takes off an enormous burden off the shoulders of government.

Dangote just happens to be the best at taking advantages of these kind of offers; he knows how to stroke the balls of govt., which explains why he's always being supported by all administrations, irrespective of party, tribe, religion, ethnicity etc. Even if you were president of Nigeria today, you will also desperately give all support to Dangote to ease your burden.

More Grease to my Trillionaire Oga at the Top.
Life is weird sha, long before Alhaji thought of putting the Project in Lekki when he was still in Hot discussion with Gov Mimiko to site the Project in Ondo due to it's long shoreline I suspect, I was at the LFTZ talking to Chinese for them to sell me their land which of course I intend selling to Alhaji because I felt it was good location for the Dangote Academy ..I remember their was no light in Epe then, when I asked they said they haven't got light in three years ,I was shock given their close proximity to Lagos.I asked the Chinese marketing guy about light he said they are working on it. When building an industrial plant ,it requires a lot of patients, I am glad the Epe that didn't have light then until ex Gov Ambode came to their rescue is going to be a beacon of light and with Gov Sanwo-Olu the sky is just the beginning.

Dangote is generating his own electricity, nothing to do with PHCN!

on one hand,it's good that many will be employed, and hopefully, fuel price will drop much,
But on the other hand, shame to Nigeria leaders who are only interested in their pockets getting bloated.

Uncharted56:
solar that will carry both Ac and fridge must be from 5kva up but 2.5kva can carry fridge and not Ac (if you're on a budget)

For the 5kva budget at least 1m

For the 2.5kva budget at least 600-700k

and make sure your installer uses MPPT charge controller cos it's what enables your batteries to charge faster, PWM charge controllers are too common and are not suitable for large setups like this one you asked about
not really bad then.

Thanks so much
