For the sake of clarity, I'll explain how this Lagos transportation works.

Firstly, the BRT you're calling "progress", is not something commutters use when they have to be on time. Nobody that is serious about his/her life uses the BRT. You're comparing an efficient Toronto bus system to this?

Also, if you use BRT, you'll know that it's not for the faint hearted. The struggle to get a seat na die and queues are always discouraging. You go stand like ekuke for hot sun forget say na just bus you won enter.

Most BRT buses on the mainland don't have working air conditioning.

And finally, it's just stupid to compare because when it comes to transport it's clear Toronto invests the commonwealth on rail. They just added buses because they can.
Lagos, on the other hand loot commonwealth and then import Chinese BRT buses wey go still jam traffic for Maryland

nice... I was trying to start my application last week then I stumbled on the application fee. I just jejely parked one side. That fee is way too much! $1325? What about the smell inside and outside the bus?

The smell has to do with management i guess,which is not government job.

But some of this metro busses here are nasty especially in places where you have people of color.

Those are the old BRT buses and they are still clean... I entered it a few years back from Ikorodu to CMS when my car was impounded by task force at oshodi... they are still clean ....
