So they're saying they're more erosion sites in Ebonyi and Imo more than Abia. That's to say Abia has the least erosion sites in SE. I greatly doubt this report. No way Ebonyi will have more erosion sites than Abia,. Infact the erosion sites in Ebonyi are more in Afikpo South which shares boundary and similar soil texture with Abia. I haven't seen erosion before in Abakaliki axis

With the small size of Abia state and getting averagely same allocation with Kano, Niger, Kaduna, Sokoto etc, they can't address this gully erosion. Abia is smaller than some Local Govt Areas in the North and its allocations running into hundreds of billions, yet just take a look at the streets.

That means it has the least gullies in the SE. 2300 gullies for 5 states. One of the states accounts for 300. That is, 2300 -300 = 2000. Then we are left with four states and 2000 gullies. That is, 2000÷4 =500. That means, abia is even less than the average in terms of gullies
