Yes I have, but not my fault is just because I don't speak certain language or from a particular region.
I was called for a job interview only to find out the manager has a candidate so why invite others.

2006 I was offered a job without writing any test,interview or screening.

It was an oil company in PH(NAOC).
My then girlfriend did the connection for me.
Her dad was a director in the same organisation.
Her brother was a top personnel in HR.
Unfortunately out of fear of Niger Delta militancy and kidnapping of oil workers back then,I rejected the job.
Well,for good 3 years,I suffered it!

Yes once lost a dream job because I didn't have nysc certificate.

Got the job two weeks to my NYSC ending and they agreed to wait for me. Only for NYSC to postpone POP by 1 month. I ended up losing the job as they couldn't wait anymore. I wanted to die

But looking back, I am glad I didn't get that job, because I ended up getting a better one that was instrumental in boosting my career. Makes me believe the saying that everything happens for a reason

I won't call it a dream job but it was a softwork job i.e minimal stress with a multinational(US) company with a 6 figures pay per month.

The agency(WorkForce along Gbagada) in charge of the job training after we have succeeded in the job screening conducted by the company's team by themselves replaced most of if not all of the applicants names with the names of their clients who they were groomingnfor that kind of jobs i.e those that paid to get jobs.

The will of God is what matters.

Today, I'm doing better and I own my hustle(business).

I lost a dream job in Nov. 2019 at Honeywell Flour Mills.
My first and only formal job interview till today.

Based on the role demands I was qualified with years of experience, yet I prepared so well.

I was still serving in Sapele then, I had to travel back to Lagos two days ahead. We had accident around Benin bypass it was terrible. Luckily my injury was minute, I was discharged the second day so proceeded with the trip, I eventually got to Lagos late in the night.

At the I was the youngest among ten interviewed.
I did well in the written test, but unfortunately I flopped during oral interview (same day).
I was jittery, scared and demented. To the extent I couldn't answer where I heard about the role. It was painful.

Afterwards I became devastated and depressed.
I cried, prayed for days till I could move on.

Yes it was in 1952 I was working in a multinational oil company but as I woke up I realised that it was a dream.

Yes that was in PH around 2006. I was told twice that am Ibo, that I can't be giving any opportunity to work in NDDC. Same reason I walked away from my best friend (Rivers man) then because of the same statement.
I cried within me and learnt a very hard lession that period simply because of my tribe...
Since then Iv moved on but u know, an ELEPHANT never forgets...now it's already in the gene of my children and they know the way forward...
