Super Eagles : Onuachu drafted as Moses Simon replacement

Paul Onuachu has been drafted to the Super Eagles for the upcoming 2020 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Lesotho.
Onuachu, who has scored 27 goals in all competitions this season was initially placed on Rohr’s standby list.

According to the Nigeria Football Federation, the KRC Genk forward replaced Moses Simon, who will miss the game after his club Nantes ruled it would not allow the player leave.

Moses Simon is the second player to pull out of the qualifiers after Girondins Bordeaux winger Samuel Kalu – who picked up an injury.

The NFF Tweeted:

Following the uncertainty regarding the availability of players based in France (due to COVID 19 laws guiding the country),Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr has extended invitation to KRC Genk striker Paul Onuachu. Henry Onyekuru was earlier called up to replace injured Samuel Kalu.

Nigeria will take on Benin Republic on the 27th of March in Porto Novo, before returning home to face Lesotho in Lagos three days later.

This make no sense how many number 9 how we having in that list genort rohr finally succumb to Nigerians pressure. he should have gone for a winger a good coach stand by his ground no matter the pressure because he is the one in charge not Nigerians.

He was supposed to be one of the first persons on the call up list. Rhor would rather call up a "clubless" Amed Musa rather the than the most in form Nigerian player in the world. what an irony

Will Rohr use him well?
Just like the Nigerian leaders, Rohr is also a waster of resources and potentials. Super eagles deserve better than Rohr.

This one does not follow Nigeria's players. Onuachu is the hottest Nigeria's striker at the moment...save for Iheanacho's last hattrick ...No Nigeria's striker comes close
