Sit for the IELTS if you can since you've my bank statement certificate intact. Otherwise, advise in writing why you can't provide the IELTS whenever its been requested by the immigration.

Thank you for the prompt response. Please how do I send it to them? Is it via web form?

Frankrobbn1:

If your bank provides mybank statement certificate for their customers, why not generate it and forward a copy of the certificate to IRCC rather than waiting for them to request for it. I would advice you do so as soon as possible.

Dear All, I have Bsc in Education/Accounting with 6 years experience as an Accountant. I got an admission for Postgraduate Accounting Diploma. The offer is conditional as it requires payment of a semester tuition of about 6,075 CAD before an unconditional offer would be provided. This is actually not refundable based on the school's refund policy. Should I go ahead to apply with the conditional offer or risk the 6,075 to get the unconditional offer for visa application. I appreciate your responses.

Who has an idea of Naira to CAD exchange rate at any bureau de change at Lagos? Please can you direct me to a reliable one? Suggestions please?

I think it's about N390 to buy and N400 to sell black market rate, tho I don't know any bureau that currently has CAD

I would advice you email them via this medium - nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca.

Also send an enquiry via webform - IRCC WEBFORM - NAIROBI

The content of the mail should state the date you submitted your application referencing your UCI and App No. You should advise the visa officer in writing that your funding letter cannot be deferred till another term. And as such you will appreciate your application be given due consideration/swift processing in order to enable you meet up with the Spring, Semester. You should also provide a copy of your funding letter highlighting in yellow link that your research is time bound. More so, include a reference letter from your supervisor in support of your visa application. At the end of the mail, thank the visa officer for taking their time to review your application and appreciate them for the success gained in your application thus far. Do this on a daily basis, you will see that your file will be attended to in no distant time with a positive result in the end. Take a bold step by getting your upfront medicals done soon i.e if you're yet to do so.

Let me know if you need further information from me.

Thanks a lot, Frankrobbn1. I truly appreciate this.

Hello Enjay316,

The information isn't accurate. A PR/Citizen can sponsor anyone if justifiable proof can be provided.

Best of Luck
.Thank you for your response. I put it wrongly before.what the agent actually said was that.He could sponsor me as my brother but it reduces my home ties and increases my Canada ties which is not good for student permit according to him.

Second application

Application date: 13th October, 2020.
NSE request letter: 8th December, 2020.
Submitted NSE documents: 30th December, 2020.
Requested GCMS notes: 21st January.
Upfront Medicals: 21st January, 2021.
Medicals Passed: 23rd January, 2021.
After 40 mails and webforms to IRCC, finally
BVL and PPR : 17th March, 2021.

5 months.

It has finally ended in praise. Thanks to all everyone who answered my questions even when the question sounded dumb. Lol. Thanks to everyone who contributes to this forum. I did everything myself and i learnt everything I know from here.

Special thanks to Justmellow, Frankrobbn1, Qudkom (haven't seen this moniker in a while), lekiboboe, etc. I even sent mails this morning before receiving ppr. I can now finally pay my tuition before the deadline which is next week Thursday. To everyone who is expected ppr, keep praying. God always comes through for his children.

everyone seems to be using NSE route.we that dont have IELTS.what is our fate without the use of NSE. is there anyone that got Visa through direct route?

i am in the same shoe, submitted application since 10th December and not even started review , am to start my class this Spring
please what could be the cause of this delay because ,medical and biometric were updated almost immediately.

any advise on what to do apart of raising webform and mail to Nairobi bi- weekly.

Frankrobbn1:

You need to contact IRCC via webform requesting for the expedited processing and finalization of your application. You can do this thrice a week, this should remind them about your file.
