to participate in the Computer Based Post-
UTME Screening Exercise for the 2013/2014
Academic Session. Each candidate shall, on
registration, be scheduled for the screening
as from Monday, 15th to Saturday, 20th July,
2013.
The University website www.unijos.edu.ng
will be opened from 21st June to 14th July,
2013 for the online registration of
candidates who have chosen the University
as their 1st or 2nd choice.
A. Eligibility
All candidates who made the University of
Jos their first or second choice and scored
180 marks and above in the UTME JAMB
examination for 2013.
B. Venue
Multipurpose Auditorium, Bauchi Road
Campus, University of Jos, Jos,
Time: The computer based screening shall
commence at 8:00am daily.
C. General Instructions
Candidates are expected to be at the
screening centre, one hour before the
scheduled time allotted to them.
Any candidate who fails to come for the
screening exercise will automatically forfeit
the chance of being considered for
admission.
Withholding information or provision of
wrong information will lead to instant
disqualification.
Candidates are strongly advised not to come
to the test centre with any electronic device
such as GSM Phones, iPods, iPods, bags, etc.,
as these items will not be allowed inside the
test hall.
Parents, Guardians and other unauthorised
persons are not allowed within the testing
venue during the Post-UTME screening.
The University of Jos does not condone any
form of examination malpractice. Offenders
shall be handed over to the law enforcement
agents for prosecution in addition to being
disqualified.
D. The Scheduling of the screening is as
follows:
Monday, 15th & Tuesday, 16th July, 2013 -
For candidates who applied for courses in
the Faculties of Medical Sciences,
Pharmaceutical Sciences, Natural
Sciences, Environmental Sciences,
Education Sciences & Technology/
Rehabilitation Sciences. The following
subjects will be examined: English
Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics &
Chemistry.
Wednesday, 17th & Thursday, 18th July,
2013 - For candidates who applied for
courses in the Faculties of: Social Sciences,
Management Sciences & Education Social
Sciences/Management Sciences. The
following subjects will be examined: English
Language, Mathematics, Economics &
Government.
Friday, 19th & Saturday, 20th July, 2013 -
For candidates who applied for courses in
the Faculties of Law, Arts & Education Arts.
The following subjects will be examined:
English Language, History & Government.
The results of the Post-UTME screening will
be available on the University of Jos website:
www.unijos.edu.ng on Wednesday 24th
July, 2013.
E. Specific Instructions
Each candidate shall pay a non-refundable
fee of two thousand naira (N2,000.00) only
for the screening and for accessing the
results.
Payment shall be made online at the
University of Jos website by using ATM
(Verve & MasterCard only) cards of any bank
enabled for web-based payment.
Thereafter, a receipt number and a
confirmation order number will be issued
for online registration.
Log on to www.unijos.edu.ng for the
registration procedures and proceed with
registration.
Registration for the Post-UTME screening is
only concluded when the scheduling of the
venue, date and time of the test is
automatically generated for each candidate.
Candidates should print out the schedule
slip which must be brought along for the
screening exercise.
Candidates are to come to the venue with
copies of their JAMB result slip and the
schedule slip only.

vizboy: speaking about federal universities. Most new federal university like FUOtuoke dont have many student with above 180. And some times Government tend to see as oportunity to make money. So u see the cut off mark will surely be reduced those federal university like uniben,unilag,unizik that wish to cut from 200 can do so atleast give other new university the chance to adm student.

Chelcy10: with dis statistic above, if unijos does not allow 2nd choice applicants to participate in the post ume, it then means 13,830 candidates should be expected in the post ume, but if both 1st choice and 2nd choice are given the opotunity, then 24,524 candidates are to be expected.
To me, I see dis as a relatively low population compared to schools like UNN, UNILAG or ABU, we have to tighten our belt and pray fervently to succed, I see evry1 here smilling at the end in Jesus name.

amen! Bro. You know some applied UJ as first and second choice. So its possible that the 3830 first choice applicant may still be counted in the second choice. it may not be upto 24,000+. Anyway sha let God see us through. But do you have any idea on how many freshes UJ admit per year?

Yea i saw something like that on the fontpage of NL,But with ppls comments am a little bit skeptical about it. Cus i have not seen anyone physically whose score has either been increase or decrease as a result of the remarking they are talking about.

I changed my course and after doing all the neccessary things, I did not see any document, I thought it will appear to me that my changes have been made and tell me to print it, but it did not do it that way, and when i check to look my registration slip, there is no changes in what I did. someone pls help me.

it depends on you. If you have covered all your olevel sylabus coupled with jamb past questions and solving without calculator, For me i think you are good to go.
