As part of the activities for the upcoming conference of the Nigeria Young Founders‘ Week themed ‘The Billion Dollar Conference: Building Africa’s Next Unicorn’, the Nigeria Young Founders Week team leads held a Press Conference with news men.

Ahead of the maiden edition which is scheduled to hold on Friday, November 3rd, 2023 at Oduduwa Hall by 08:00am, Mr Damilola Mogaji, the Operation lead, Co- founder, Sparkhub and also the Co-lead of the NYFW, Clinton Oyelami, CEO and Co-founder of swift, Sparkhub, Olubode Olatunbosun, Brand and Marketing Lead and Eniola Agunbiade, Publicity and Partnership Lead met with Pressmen to state out the aims and objectives of the maiden edition of the Nigeria Young Founders’ Week.

Speaking to the Pressmen, Mogaji, explained that Sparkhub is known to be a community and body of Young Entrepreneurs, undergraduates on campus across universities in Nigeria and NYFW is a Sparkhub initiative, focused on engaging students and brilliant young people across different campuses and how they can navigate their skills in starting up businesses which will in turn boost their GDP and the country’s economy at large.

According to Damilola Mogaji, the maiden edition of the Nigeria Young Founders’ Week, is solely scheduled to hold on OAU campus to give much honour to most of initiator of the project. Also, he made it known that the event original plan was to be a week long events but due to some challenges that might sprout out on the part of the attendees and on the mission to make the maiden event a glamorous one, the organizers decided in compressing the event to a single day.

“Technology is the new boy”, those were the words of Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi the Chairman, Mutual Benefit Assurance PLC, who also is the Chairman of the OAU TECH Week which was powered by the office of the Students’ Union President, Comr. Olayiwola Folahan, “Reform”.

The OAU Tech Week which kick started on Monday, 26th June of, 2023 with an exhibition which enable an opportunity for seven teams which comprises of students to peach their problem solving technological innovations and the best five teams out of the seven get tech mentorship and monetary fund for their innovative and problem solving ideas.

The second day of the OAU Tech Week Conference which held in the early hours of Tuesday, 27th of June, 2023 at the New Moot And Mock Court with the theme “Tech Impact: Harnessing The Power Of Technology For Positive Change”.

A young Nigerian man identified as Ebube has gotten more than he bargained for after he put his girlfriend to a s£x test to verify her loyalty to him.

It was gathered that Ebube had asked his best friend to try and sleep with his girlfriend called Chineye Okechukwu Olivia, however Olivia felt disappointed that her partner for 3 years could put her up for such a lousy test.

Chineye in a Whatsapp conversation that surfaced online recounted how she was mocked by friends for dating a jobless guy and how she had to take care of his rent bills for 2 years.

Though downhearted Olivia passed the test, she expressed her deepest regret for Ebube’s awful test and wished him a perfect woman in the future.
