Good day Dear VO,

Sir, please am in distress, My interview was successful but i was asked to get the birth certificate from National Population Commission and drop it off at one of the DHL centers together with my passport.

I've gone to NPC and i was told that they don't give birth certificates to individuals above 18years or born before 1992. I am above 18 and was also born before 1992, so they said at NPC that what i'll be issued is an attestation instead. Please is this in order and will the attestation of birth from NPC be accepted by the embassy?

Please again, how many days approximately will It take for the visa to be ready for pick up after I drop off the attestation & my passport as requested? I just want to reshuffle my plans as I don't live in lagos.
