Abeg I need clarification on something 😂

How can you call Germany “affordable” when you still need roughly ₦20m just to satisfy the financial requirement?

And then Italy is being presented as low-budget but you’re also talking about needing millions for the visa stage.

At what point do we stop calling these countries “affordable” and start calling them “affordable tuition” countries?

Because those are two VERY different things.

Wait o 😂

So if somebody has, say, 470–490 CRS, are you saying they should just forget Express Entry and start looking at AIP?

Because I know people that have spent serious money on IELTS and WES already. E no easy to just tell them to abandon everything.

Would AIP actually make more sense for such a person?

Wait, this part about the first-month stipend is actually something people don't talk about enough.

So if someone gets a fully funded scholarship, should they already have money set aside for their first few weeks abroad?

And what happens if the scholarship says accommodation and travel are covered but the payment only comes after arrival?

I honestly think applicants need to know these things BEFORE applying, not after getting the offer.

Travel › Re: ₦7 Million For Medicine In Russia? Can You Actually Make It To The Classroom? by Praiseay3: 11:35am On Aug 18
OP, this is a heavy breakdown, but let's talk about the real elephant in the room. How are parents supposed to pay school fees and send monthly upkeep to Russia from Nigeria right now?

With the ongoing sanctions, Russia is completely blocked from the global SWIFT banking network. You can't use standard Nigerian bank cards, and you can't just walk into a bank in Lagos to do a direct wire transfer. If a parent cannot easily send money to their child, the student will literally starve or get expelled. How are your current students surviving this banking lockdown? Let's be practical.

Informative post, OP! Landed property owners are now selling lands just to fund UK visa. Europe is definitely the next move. Check your PM, I just dropped a message regarding the Serbia pathway.

₦5m budget for study abroad these days, which country actually makes sense? I keep hearing Russia and Italy but I'm confused about the real costs.

Please I want to understand this better.

If someone has the required work experience but most of their leadership has been within their workplace, how can they present it in a way that shows actual influence and impact?

Because I’m currently preparing my application and I don’t want to make the mistake of just listing my job responsibilities.

But wait, are you saying someone can have the required 2 years experience and still be rejected mainly because they presented their work as ordinary employment?

Please, for someone who has a 2:2 but strong work experience and leadership/community involvement, which of these would be more realistic to target? I'm seeing different requirements everywhere and I'm honestly confused about which ones are actually worth my time.
Globalscholar1:
For anyone considering these options, please check the official scholarship website before applying because deadlines and requirements can change.

The important thing is not to wait until the deadline week before checking your eligibility. Some of these opportunities have very different requirements depending on whether you're applying for undergraduate or Master's study.
