Gd mor. Congrats on your normal uterine cavity without fibroid. Concerning the mild hydro there are some people who still get pregnant with hydro, there is nothing too hard for God. Your doctor will need to review your result.
In my case i took doxycycline to treat the infection after the diagnosis and dr suggested laparoscopy to remove the hydro since it was mild and induction of ovulation was done afterwards. In your case removal of the adhesion may be done as well during the lap. A lady from north that had hyro and adhesion removal did both the same day i did mine she even got pregnant before me. Cancer is actually so common these days and the rate at which people die from it is even more alarming. Well sin or no sin those that will have cancer will do b we are just too superstitious as Africans.

Thank u dear for ur response. My Bromergon just finished last weekend. I have not checked for tube patency. My hubby has done SFA & his results came out fine.

You dont just stop the bromocriptin. lt is a drug that requires continous usage. I think you shouldnt stop it. Talk to your doctor.

You can get NHIS in a federal government teaching hospital for just 9k though it used to be 15k before. This covers for all illnesses and for a reduced fees for surgery. The challenge is that the strese of teaching hospitals could be killing but the trick in getting the stress reduced if you are doing it for a specialist care is to register in Teaching hospitals not in too urban areas like Ife(OAUTHC) , Ilesha (Wesley guild) maybe Ibadan but definately not lagos. The advantages of going to places like this is that you are guaranteed of a specialist care at a reduced cost.

Had HSG last year, tube patent. ....hormonal profile ok,scan was ok.....hubby's count was 15m....nobody told us it was low...until recently. ....we have started treating it with proviron and it has improved to 30m.

Im really hopeful


Will like to share this little experience. Dec last year we tried a diff clinic....I did some test and scan,the doctor claimed I had complex cyst with sludge and I was booked for laparoscopy of 750k. ...hubby was almost paying....I learnt of metformin n Apple cider with BSM here...I bought it and I was using it coupled with prayers....
I noticed sum tiny discharge lk small white balls...which the doctor cleaned up.....fast forward to this year....A friend advised I visit another clinic. .only for them to tell me I had no cyst....and ask me to repeat any where if I'm not convinced
I was confused and I'm still confuse....
could the doctor be lieing?can cyst disappear so fast..... ll be going for another scan soon just to clarify.....

There are a lot of medical officers out there that are not a specialist in O & G. I also had similar experience 4 month after marriage that i was worried i had not conceive i went to one private hospital and the doctor did scan and he told me i had 20mm cyst that i need to do surgery to remove it and he also said that he would do appendicectomy as well so that i will not have cyst again. Thank God I sought second opinion before going for the surgery. The cyst eventually disappear the following month because it was a functional cyst.
Laparoscopy 750k why, I did laparoscopy in a teaching hospital with less than 20k with NHIS without NHIS it might be close to 50k. We have to be careful with the type of private hospital we go to and we must be sure of their competency.

@fvine & Sugah, thank u very much for ur response. My cycle was irregular as a result of high prolactin but d past three cycles have been 29/30 days which is now regular. The cycles when I was on clomid, it was prescribed by my gynae as he said my cycle was anovulatory due to white discharge from my breasts. I did hormonal assay two months ago & my doc said I have poor ovulation.

High prolactin which is hyperprolactinaemia need to be corrected to achieve conception. I went through your post i realise u are on Bromergon which is bromocriptine that i mentioned in one of my post. It is effective in the treatment of high prolactin. I hope you are still on it. Have you check your tube for patency. Has your DH done seminal fluid Analysis. God will crown all your effort with BFP

Congrats on your bfp, I clicked like on your bfp post and will click the like button multiple times if possible. Its possible to conceive with just one good tube. Did you do anything previously either supplement, drugs, home remedies etc to unblock the bad tube? Don't be sorry for your long post, it's just you sharing openly and fully and that's what the thread is for. I pray for a happy and healthy pregnancy and a supernatural childbirth for you, Amen. Gd evening mamas am sorry for my late response have been very busy with work.
As i mentioned before I did not take any supplement but i did salpingostomy to open the bad tube with hydrosalpinx 2years ago.
Salpingostomy is the creation of new opening in a tube with occluded distal hydrosalpinx.
Hydrosalpinx is an infection in the fallopian tube mostly detected by HSG. Most doctor advice their patient to try assisted reproduction after sapingostomy because according to some research natural conception following salpingostomy is low.
Yes it is possible to get pregnant with one tube but in the case of hydrosalpinx some researchers belief that once one tube have hydrosalpinx it is possible it might have infected the other and the cilia might have been damage making it difficult for it to fuction optimally. Because of what i know about it , age and other factors i didn't want to wait without taking any action that was the reason i did IUI and IVF. I didn't take any drugs or supplement as i was trying to rest my body after all the IVF medication i took in July and my menstruation eventually returned October.
Mothers it is not over until is Over, one will keep trying all the possibility with prayers it will surely end in praise.

Gd mor mamas. On what i did differently.
Actually i did not do any special thing, i continued with prayer even though i was frustrated with the situation i found my self but i belief one day my heaven will be opened and all my seeds of prayer will germinate. I also continue seeking solution medically.
In Jan i participated in a 4 days special program for expectant mother in my Region. It was a fasting program and we were given prayer points which we were told to continue at home for 21 days with vigil.
In January as well i visited another private hospital owned by a consultant in O & G for medical counsel as i was fed up and i didn't know what more to do medically that i have not done and to ask if i should remove the affected tube. I went there with photocopied result of all the investigation i had done including the result of the surgery i did. The Dr asked if usually experience thighteness in my Vag during BD of which i do experience he then prescribed bromocriptine tablet. I told him milk was not coming out of my breast and the result did not indicate that but he said it could also be use for thightnes down there. I use the drug prayerfully and i BD for alternate day as i was told. i BD from CD 10 - CD 16 for a 28days cycle. I ensure i use both front and back method during the BD and i did it with fun. i was waiting for the next cycle to repeat the HSG but it never come to the glory of God. Scan was conducted to rule out ectopic and i was placed on progesterone support. I was not on any supplement. Am sorry for the long post.

i know it's a new month please allow me to rant.

At times the happenings in one's life makes one doubt the existence of God. I can't say I know your pain but I've been in similar shoes loosing both parents and having to wait for over 3 years without getting pregnant. I'm sure some people are in worse. Don't be discouraged and don't loose hope. Irrespective of what is happening when you still count your blessings you'll still be able to count God's goodness. He never fails neither does he sleeps nor slumbers. He watches over you. Crying won't solve anything but would rather give you a feeling of learned helplessness.
Don't loose hope your miracle is just an inch away.

Happy New Month fruitful mothers. Am new here but have been a silent reader for about 2years.
Celebrate God in my life as He surprise me with BFP on sunday for the first time in my life.
Married 2012 was diagnosed with unilateral hydrosalpinx and multiple subserous fibroid after HSG, homonal profile ok , hubby SA ok.
Had laparoscopy and salpingostomy Dec 2013. Had series of precribed clomid cycle with no positive result, 1 failed IUI and 1 failed IVF July last year.
I was saving for another IVF this year as am aware that it may require more than one to achieve success and age is not on my side. But God that answer prayers answered me when i least expect. we shall all testify our BFP this year do not relent in prayer, PRAYER is the key. He will perfect all our efforts. Please don't mind my errors is my first time of posting.
