"So how was your night??" Esther asked...
"Great"
"Hey don't do that"
"Do what?? " I asked..
"Don't lie to me... Tell me how was your night, any nightmares?? "
"You know, sometimes i wonder if your gift is to read minds" I said..."well yea I had a nightmare"
"Same dream??"
"Well yes, but this one was different, it's was like the concluding part of the vision"
"What do you mean?? " she asked..
"Remember in my previous revelations I told you I saw three people being murdered in different locations"
"Yes?? "
"Well this time I saw none of that " I explained the whole dream to her..

"And you think its going to happen today?? " she asked..
"Yes"... I replied staring around. The newscaster on the television was now talking about the Pope's visit to the country today...
I said.."I have to go now... I have to call Frank "
"But you're not sure it's going to happen today. Remember your revelations are not always straight forward" Esther protested trying to discourage me from leaving... "And also remember you said a young man putting on a pink shirt will ask for my mobile number the day the attack is going to happen "

Just then we heard someone scream her name excitedly "Esther!!! Oh my God it's being ages I saw you" a beautiful dark lady in a pink top said... "You have to give me your number"

Immediately I got up on my feet and started heading towards the door... "Promise me you won't do anything stupid" I heard Esther's voice...
"I promise" I said as I quickly brought out my phone to call Frank. Then I broke my promise......

Just like almost every weird night, I had had a revelation. I saw the robbery take place. It's was a successful one, lives were lost and as usual I had woken up sweating profusely. One thing about every revelation I had ever had was that it never came straight. But of recent, things were beginning to change. The robbery had happened at a restaurant in my street, even though I didn't see the name of the restuarant, I already knew which one it's was as that was the only restaurant in the entire street.

That morning I had rush to the restaurant to inform them of the attack that was about to take place. Of course I had lied to them that I overheard the robbers making their plans. No one would have given me a second glance if I had said I saw it in my dream. I thought I had outsmarted all of them but I was wrong after when the police had apprehended the robbers, she had walked up to me and said "even though your story was convincing, I still don't believe you". And that was how the whole romance started.

When I reached home that day, I realised two things ...The first was that I was in love with a waitress who works at the Choppiz, The second??

Well, that her name was Esther....

That was 2 years ago....

Everything was going smoothly at the Choppiz. Everybody went about with their business, none knew the looming danger that was ahead of them.

Getting a sit for my self, I searched with my eye's for her but she was no where to be found. A news reporter was talking about the white men that were visiting the country today in other to sign a peace treaty.

The country was almost at the verge of war with another country, people had being killed from both sides. A peace treaty was later agreed on after both country decided that going to war would only be a waste of resources and human lives.

I was about placing my order to the pretty waitress who was standing in front of my table when I heard the voice of the one I had earlier being searching for.. "I'm sorry ma'am, but I'll place my order later " I said to the pretty waitress who walked away murmuring...

"Look who decided to eat out today" Esther said jokingly as she walked up to me..
"What can I say... I miss my baby"
"Awww that's so sweet" she said giving me a Peck..

Me and Esther hadn't exactly met the same way every normal guys meets his heartthrob. It had been different but what can I say?? I AM DIFFERENT......

I had no plans to cook since i lost my appetite in the morning, so I decided to have my launch at the Choppiz.

The Choppiz was one of the best restaurant located a little distance away from my home, opposite the road.

Standing on the sidewalk beside the road, I waited for the traffic light to turn red in other for me to cross the road- a little boy was standing beside me. Car's zoomed off, everyone was one way or the other excited as it's was a Friday, the last working day of the week. Finally the traffic light indicated the red sign and the little boy ran across the road. I was about crossing when I looked at the boy crossing the road.. Immediately I saw flashes of light as if having a deja vu, I knew what was about to happen. The boy was already half way across the road when a car which had failed break started heading his way...Moving with every strength in me, I ran. I knew it would take at least 15 seconds before the car hit the boy, at least, that was how long it took in my dream...but sometimes the time weren't always the same.

The car was very close now, and just as I guessed, the time weren't the same. The little boy froze at the spot, he was about to watch himself get run over by a car. The car ran past through into an electric pole by the road. How it all happened still wasn't clear to me...all I knew was that one minute I was jumping towards the boy, the next minute me and the boy were both on the floor.

Getting back on my feet I asked.. "Are you okay?? "
"Yes sir. Thank you sir"
"What's your name " I asked...
"Isaac sir"
"Okay Isaac, why aren't you in school??
"We're on mid term"
"Mid term?? What is today's date??
"23rd of March sir"
"Oh no!! " I exclaimed

I woke up with a start, not screaming this time as there was no one to pamper and cuddle me to bed like my parents used to when I was younger, I now stayed in my own apartment. Getting up from the bed, I moved to the fridge to get a glass water. Checking the time on my wall clock, the time was 4:45am...I knew going back to sleep was impossible as I never go back to sleep whenever I had a revelation, I stay awake irrespective of the time I woke up from the dream....

Setting the glass cup on top of the fridge in my one room apartment, I thought about my latest revelation. Something about this dream gave me the chills as this was the first time I saw clues like the car's plate number and the mosque beside the road. Quickly reaching for a pen and a sheet of paper, I wrote down the car's plate number and planned to show it to Esther later in the day...

A lot of you would want to know who I am and what I can do... Well I'm Darlington, my parents call me the 'seer' because they know of my ability, what do my friend's call me?? Well I had no friends, I was scared of what the world would think of me if they knew about my gift...so I stayed away from a lot of people.

I see things, things I don't want to see. Dad said my ability was a gift from God... Was it?? Or was it a curse from the devil himself

*The Revelation*


I watched as the red Toyota camry cruised toward's the direction of the crowd -plate number AAA26GM. The occupant of the car wasn't visible to me just like every other time I had this same dream. I knew what was about to happen; so like alway's I tried to warn everyone of the looming danger but no one seem to pay any attention to me... "The red car" I said to a lady who seemed to be oblivious of the fact that I was standing right in front of her... "There's a bomb in the car" I yelled at her.. She paused and looked around as if searching for something, for a moment I thought she had heard me "yes the red car" I said with hope.. "Alert everyone " .. The lady looked past me, smiled and waved at a someone. Obviously she wasn't searching for the red car but for her lover...I watched as she walked right into my body and came out of the other side as if nothing had happened. Of course to them they was no one there as I was invisible to them. The first time I witnessed someone walk through me in my dream or revelation like my dad calls it, I let out a loud scream and woke up... Immediately, I switched on my room Lamb to check if there was any illegal hole there...that night had being terrifying.

The man came out of his car, he didn't seem to be in a hurry - his face was still invisible. I walked closer to him as he leaned on his car.. "I'm not going to let kill anyone here, you hear me?? " even though I knew he couldn't hear me I kept on shouting.

The crowd were getting much, what ever it's was that was drawing this some much crowd was still a mystery to me. Then the invisible face man phone rang, "hello... Yes it's ready"... He stopped for a while... and looked at his wrist watch - the time was 3:57pm...Then immediately he started walking away. I had the feeling that it's was almost time, shouting or screaming hadn't proven to be effective so I watched as hundreds of life's moved about.. The signpost ahead showed the date to be 23/03/2015.
Just then I heard the calling of the evening prayer by a mosque down the road, the bomb went off.
