This is why I don't really fancy GSDs, I just like them for their beauty but they make too many careless barkings with little action. I guess the barking is their own defensive mechanise sha. Boerboels are calmer and they study and react to situations better than GSDs. Boerboels act over careless barking.

Yes your not far from the truth....Have had several gsds over the years and what i studied about them is that they bark more than they would want to attack.

Got her few weeks back... She's 3 Months and a week plus,dont know if she's ok for her age.. Please help me rate her...

It's been almost 2weeks since I got Ashely and I noticed she isn't much of a barker yet, probably she is still trying to adjust to her new environment but I must admit she's fearless .. Jst two days back i let her close to the Gsd(Chelsea) while she (Chelsea my gsd) was having her dinner,on sighting Ashely, Chelsea started barking furiously and aggressively draging her chain to attack but to my greatest surprise Ashely didn't even send lol, she just walked up to her bent her head and started eating Chelsea's meal �...Even Chelsea was abit surprised and backed down... THE GUTS sha... after that incident they suddenly became besties.. they now play,no more barking from the older dog.

the diet you're giving her is already good.
socialise her well with your other dog to prevent violence between them.
also,don't leave them together unattended for now

Sorry but this is a local crossed with a gsd or a mixed Gsd..... Too early but the features don't lie, We don't have to discriminate dogs, all dogs are dogs and even highers breeds still do go out to poo..

Just got this puppy just yesterday, She's 3months old. For the first few hours she got to her new home she was really cold and quiet, I guess she was trying to adjust to her new surroundings and the older dog(my female 10 months old Gsd) kept barking furiously at her so had to put her in a far away separate cage..I got her noodles,dry feed and canned beef/chicken,Vetzyme B and E for the main time,and I forgot to add that she was given her first and second shots 6th and 10th week respectively but gave her the 3rd shot at the k9 of the seller and also she was injected with some anti tick injection(cant recall the name now).. She's a very healthy dog and extremely heavy for her age and i would appreciate some help from the experts here on how to give her the proper diet (what to feed her) .

When I got her she was looking abit skinny, even had to ask the previous owner if she was properly fed at all, I doubt she was anyway.... So for the past one week shes been on some good proteinous meals, from milk, Can meat(turkey and chicken), boiled eggs, rice, noodles and alot of cooked chicken...She loves chicken alot,all dogs love chicken � ,so I always makes us it's mixed with her noodles or rice, she's got a large appetite tho and always clears her plate.. I feed her thrice a day most times but when am home all day four times.
