Iammercy2018:
to secure permanent residency, all you've got to do is to walk down to their immigration office and apply for a visa extension or permanent residency, it doesn't require much.

I will give more details about that soon

Ok, will expect.

Muito obrigada.

Aside having these requirements for travel to Moz.: International passport, return ticket, Invitation letter, what does a flight itinerary looks like?

Let's say someone invited me at Moz. for a week, is it a must to return when the week completes or one can still stay for 30 days?

Iammercy2018:
you're looking at it with Nigeria currency, our naira is useless,

1 Mozambique metica = 6 naira

the price is the highest you could get a table water here.

But normally it is sold at 28 meticais for a litre that's in Shoprite here, but at a local shop they sell for 25 meticais

Ok I get it now.

Thanks

I'm so interested in migrating to Mozambique too.....
I think moving down there is not just limited to having an international passport, other needs like invitation letter to one's destination and visa fee are also vital. This is what someone vaguely told me, he is not sure though.

I need someone who has travelled from Lagos to Maputo to tell us how he/she did it successfully.

All is well, wether the country is poor or not, I really don't mind.

Please, who wants to give us an accurate information on how to migrate to Mozambique from Lagos to Maputo

EMMAACHILE:

Opportunities in Mozambique: 5 Sectors Worth Investing In

Poultry and Agric business are one of the sectors in need there. See link below

Summary is here
Mozambique has the 3rd highest rice consumption in the SADC, most of it imported. Demand for rice, growing at 6 to 7 percent per year, indicates an expanding gap between demand and production. Experts estimate that poultry consumption, particularly chicken, could double in the next 5 to 7 years. Studies routinely show a local preference for the locally produced chicken, but production costs, largely due to high feed costs, keep prices 15 percent above that of the imported Brazilian chicken in Maputo, and up to 25 percent higher outside the major cities.

The potential for feed production, including soy extraction, and distribution is emphasized by studies that show potential margins above 20 to 25 percent. Packaging and downstream manufacturing of certain cash crops – including cashews, tobacco and sugar – has potential for boosting value for the agricultural sector.
