You are right op. Obaseki really messed up his second tenure by fighting unnecessary battles and creating enemies for himself.

Edo people stood by him even when he had a fallout with oshiomhole. But what did we get in return? Nothing tangible he did in his second tenure.

I personally wasn’t invested in this year’s election. Didn’t bother voting yesterday, although my parents voted for pdp.

Asuen would have been the best candidate but it’s rather unfortunate the greedy and power hungry obaseki ruined it for him.

And as for those saying Edo don be Lagos, Edo can never and will never be Lagos. Nobody has the monopoly of power in Edo state. If okpebholo’s first tenure is nothing to write home about, I trust the good people of Edo state to vote him out.
