Peeps, I need suggestions O. E be like say I will not be admitted wit 40.2 MBA F/T. Omo I need suggestions that excluded waiting till next year or trying another school nor course.

Unilag is crazy O! Now they've changed my admission status to not recommended. Which kind wahala be dis?

Dunno why peeps are getting unneccesarily worked up over the low scores online. For the umpteenth time, that score isn't over 100. I know of two people who have been privileged to check their names in the admission list, and they were "recommended" with scores higher than what they saw online. An example is a mech engineering applicant who saw 38 online, only to score 61 in the "recommended" list.

Make una no give yourselves unneccesary hypertension oo cos if that sets in, e fit affect your health when you resume!

I actually didn't want to say this b4 but seeing the panic we all are in. I will say it though i might not tell u my dpt though its mgt not MBA o.
I scored below 30 but i had some1 check thje dept for me and my name is already on the list. So i feel we should just calm( not saying this cos my name is already on d list) as i think the score is generally low and cutoff will depend on each dpt.

Honestly, on my own, I don't really care about score and all. Unilag should just give me admission. Whatever they want to do.

Well, its all cool, but I usually get my booking from kadaso.com

So I decided to travel to Dubai and decided to do the research. I came accross some estimates I thought I should share with you guys.

The Visa:
First I need to fix the visa. A little enquiry showed that dubai visa are really not difficult to get. Infact, one dude said I don't even need to show up for any interview. I should just send my passport data pagea and in about 5 days..voila. He charged me $150 for it.

The Flight
I did some digging, and saw some deals that takes you to dubai from Lag. Infact, i saw flights for N108k, N117k and I even saw a Rwandair flight for N92 I kind of never knew that flights to Dubai are this cheap. And they are all return flight.

The hotel
So Dubai is the city where you have the seven star hotel, right? Burj Al Arab? So for dudes like me that never gone, or are traveling for the first time, you expect Ikoyi lagos or better. When I checked, I saw hotels in the area that are actually cost effective. Am talking like Millenium Airport Hotel that is like $95 and all. I must confess that there were some intimidating looking hotels that were priced for like $600 close to the Mr 7 star, but lets not go there yet. And by the way... just budget like 50k for the flexing....at least.

The flexing
I also saw that Dubai has many markets that speciallize in many things. But my favorite one is Mall of the Emirates. Shopping is so cool, and you get to see plenty tins. The market is so large, that there are about 500 stores or so.

In case you are still single like me, I think the dubai matter is a cool place for honeymooners. I understand that there are some kind of camel rides and stuff, but I had to skip those. Maybe next time. I'm thinking of more visits to this lovely town. Its quite cool here.

Guys, I just found out that daarst is (or would be) transmitting from Intelsat, the same sattelite that DSTV and Hitv is presently transmitting from. I am yet to get frequencies, but when I do, I'll post em here.

Thanks for giving us info. This is probably the most reliable coming from a Darsat insider. However, I just have a few comments. Your company advertised 40 stations at least, you listed 39. What is the exact satellite, and transponder frequency(ies) that you guys are transmitting on. We installers and satellite TV hobyists are kind of waiting for more accurate info.It might not be a good idea if we wait too long. Remember, most of us are the foot soldiers of your course. People we install for usually ask for our recomendation, we have to have good info before recomending.

@other gurus, hw far with programming a reciever? Any ideas? It also seams that the hub can see my modem's ID. It seams they can boot me out if I try to aquire a lock too much. Talk 2 me guys.

The satellite finder is a good idea, but isn't there a better option. I have this one and it seams, it just beeps when u pass a satellite, but does not tell you which. Does anyone have any ideas on the specs of a better, more detailed one? I would not mind getting one at all.

My team just won a contract to design a web software package. We would like additional hands with PHP/MySQL competence. Experience does not matter. As long as you can deliver on time, you're in.

Application is hereby sought for part time programmers that are competent in PHP/ MySQL. Ajax, Javascript, and CSS knowledge would be extra added advantages. Candidates would be required to prove their competence and maybe write a few codes as test. All successful candidated would work their own hours, but would be required to produce reports on or before an agreed deadline.
Candidates have the option of selectting modules to work on. Payout is on an agreed date of the month, depending on modules completed during the period under review. Sucessful candidates would not be required to quit their present place on employment if they so chose or want to earn extra incomes.

I would like us to look into the issue of reprogramming a reciever. I reset mine and was able to telnet into it. I also saw some interesting readings from the telneting. I use a skysat modem, and I am trying to upgrade a bootloader, but it seams the company and/or the loader cannot be found on the internet. Any ideas.
