There's a reason why there's negotiation (Bargaining) power, so do you all feel hurt when you buy something very cheap and later discover that you actually got it way low off market price. Do you go back to the seller to make it up to them that you have priced this thing and feel you have cheated them or you just see it as your luck and move on

Before you buy anything make sure you already compare price that way you have an idea of how much it cost and you make use of your negotiation skills. Business or service rendered are meant to be a Win Win situation.

But make una calm down with dragging Alabaconnect like tiger generator on this issue... ...him stating his opinion on the issue doesnt exactly mean he is doing same in his business. Dude has proved his worth over time with very competitive prices. I keep tabs on the 3 major sellers of smart TVs here on Nairaland and his prices are usually unbeatable.

Besides, If a market is overpriced, customers feeling cheated will be the least of our worries. The market will just be attractive enough to entice new sellers/suppliers who will ultimately crash down the price.

This is usually the case when a first-of-its-kind product get launched. We all remember how MTN ripped Nigerians off with high prices of SIM cards and per-minute billing back then, until new guys came into the scene. In fact, Y'all will be shocked at the margins manufacturers make per product...lol

But, ultimately, the onus is on the buyer to do due diligence before purchase. Thankfully, there are now many platforms and ways of comparing prices. If blames will be apportioned, the buyer will get a fair share for not comparing prices before purchasing.
