The biggest form of bravery is speaking up for truth and this is what friends of Ovaioza have done. When allegations of fraud arose against Ovaioza, an agricultural business woman in Nigeria, her friends expressed disbelief and supported her claims that her business was only facing a regulatory issue with SEC, because she was collecting money from the public to trade with, without regulation from them. Believing this to be true, her friends stood by her on social media. But on the 18th of February, her friends who are equally partners of her business, put out statements denouncing their support and stating that they had discovered proof that the allegations against Ovaioza were true. They had been lied to and kept in the dark while Ovaioza mismanaged funds raised by thousands of people for buying and selling of garri and other agricultural products. In light of this, Ovaioza has been arrested and while in custody, she has agreed to liquidate her assets and start paying back the money. Her friends who are also victims of this fraud, have called for Justice for everyone, reminding the public that standing for the truth is a civic responsibility, irrespective of who is involved. They did not cover up the fraud but took the risk to speak up in public, in order to salvage the situation and get justice. Taking to Facebook, Marline Oluchi said; “Ovaioza put structures in place to ensure that none of us suspected anything. That much I can see now. I am uncomfortable with the fact that people might see this post as me denying my friend because she is in trouble but this is fraud! I WILL NEVER ENDORSE FRAUD! Especially one where I am a victim. I mean, I have so much money there! A couple other people I can’t mention because they have not mentioned it here themselves, are partnering under me. This is outside my family o. My own money is there!”

It has been reported that Ovaioza of OFPSB is in police custody, for collecting billions of naira from people under the pretense of running an agricultural business of this volume, with a promise of profit for everybody who gives her money for partnership. This money is now unaccounted for, as she faces inability to pay back capitals to the public. Her arrest came a night after her friends interrogated her on the news circulating on Facebook that she is a operating a Ponzi scheme. She admitted to losing most of the investors money given to her and could not pay back immediately. New evidence has also surfaced showing that she was involved in forgery. Taking to Facebook, her friend, Marline Oluchi, verified the loss of their money invested in the company, showing evidence that she also lost 27.9million naira to the investment. With other friends identified as Ikechukwu Okafor, Eneze Bello and others, they called on the public to take legal action to recover their money.

In what has been described as the biggest case of mismanagement of funds for 2022, Ovaioza, the founder of OFPSB was recently arrested for mismanaging billions of naira raised from the public, for a partnership in the buying and selling of agricultural goods. Running a company that trades with crowdfunded funds, Ovaioza’s problems came to limelight when the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), placed a restriction on all her bank accounts, for lack of compliance to monetary regulations policies. This led to notoriety for the company on social media and allegations of mismanagement of funds, fraud and forgery surfaced for the CEO, Ovaioza. In light of this, her close friends who are known as her cliques, investigated and uncovered layers of multiple lies with proof that indeed, Ovaioza had been mismanaging funds and lying to everyone who gave her money through public crowdfunding, for partnership in her business with expected returns. This, they made public, stating that they are not a party to fraud and cannot shield a friend who is defrauding so many people. In light of these revelations, Ovaioza has since been arrested and has promised to pay back all she owes to the public, as failure to do so will mean going to jail. Friends who helped expose this financial fraud are Chykah Bro Marline Oluchi Ikechukwu Okafor Stanley Nwa Okpoko Kelechi Chimgozirim Sammy-El Nwabueze

On the 18th of April, 2020, Marline Oluchi and her friends, took to social media to expose facts of the civil crime they uncovered, perpetrated by Imu Yunusa, also known as Ovaioza. Ovaioza, the founder of OFPSB, a seemingly thriving agricultural enterprise, was partnering with interested persons from the public who had funds for a business but could not run it themselves. She would collect the funds and use her market structure to buy and sell agricultural produce, taking 30% of all profit and giving her partners 70%. Things went wrong when allegations of fraud surfaced online. Ovaioza revealed her business accounts had been restricted by SEC for operating on funds crowdfunded from their public within appropriate monetary regulations. To solve this problem, she retained the services of the prominent law firm, Chief Afe Babalola & Co. After trying to defend her for weeks from the allegations of fraud, friends of Ovaioza, including Marline Oluchi, realized that their friend was not being honest and confronted her for facts in a meeting that lasted for about 8hours. Ovaioza admitted to mismanagement of the funds entrusted to her and also admitted to running the business on lies. She could not account for the money people gave her to trade with, nor could she account for the goods supposedly bought. With the realization of fraud running into billions of naira with so many casualties, Marline Oluchi took to her Facebook account to share findings of their meeting, alerting all partners and enabling the arrest of Ovaioza. Remanded in custody at FCID, FCT Command, Ovaioza has finally agreed to liquidate her assets and pay back all the money she collected from the public, including that of her friends, running into millions of naira.

Hashtags are a must use Hashtags (#) are very important not just for Instagram, but for almost every networking app. With hashtags, you can reach people who are interested in your niche or a particular trend without them even following you. Hook onto trending common Hashtags in your field e.g #DigitalMarketing or you can make use of a more specific Hashtag like #SEO or even narrow it down more for better click throughs e.g #Anchortexts. Each way you choose be sure to monitor the outcomes and either keep doing that if it works, or choose another method if it does not. Below are some key findings on Hashtags that will convince you about the power of Hashtags. Key Findings 88% of brand posts include at least one hashtag. 91% of posts by top brands have seven or fewer hashtags. Posts with at least one hashtag average 12.6% more engagement. Read more : Optimizing your web speed. 2. Optimize your entire profile. There is a very popular quote: “You are addressed the way you dress”. Well, this is also the case in Social Media. The way your profile looks attributes to the way people take your brand. Consider the below: If you’re branding yourself as an expert in your niche, upload a very professional photo, a chest level length image is perfect, not a full shot. Or a very crisp logo of your company. Always include a link back to your website. You may want to create a landing page specifically for Instagram visitors or change up the link destination to promote your current campaign or content. Use your company logo somewhere in your profile so users know it’s the official profile for your company. Consider adding one brand-specific hashtag to your profile so users know it ‘belongs’ to you. Include your physical location if you have a local business. Make sure your images and other content are consistent with your other social media properties. 3. Follow People You might be tempted to avoid following people back in an attempt to have more followers than those you are following. Well, sorry to burst your bubbles, unless you’re a well-known brand, you can’t get away with this. Always follow your followers and also actively look for influencers in your field and follow them. A tool like Keyhole will allow you to search users and posts by Hashtag and sort the results based on the number of likes they have received. Follow users who follow influencers in your niche, this will help you build a community around them. 4. Post engaging photos and videos. Spice up the content you release. Avoid monotony. People can easily get bored of the content a brand pushes if it’s the same always. You can utilize: User submitted articles, Teaser images of new products. e.t.c Photos can perform better than videos. With images, everyone can see the content without necessarily clicking on it as they scroll down their news feed. This is not always the same with videos. 5. Offer Value to People One way to get the attention of people as a brand is by offering irresistible value to them. Give out freebies occasionally, give coupons, offer free tutorials on how to fix stuff. If your practice this you’d get the attention of not just your clients, but to investors too. 6. Use Instagram ads to further expand your reach With Instagram ads, you can target users who are interested in your niche and get them to follow you or to visit your website. This is well worth the cost. Every big brand invests heavily in advertisements. 7. Make use of the right tools to help streamline your efforts. There are tools that will help you streamline your efforts on Instagram. One of Forbes premium writer’s favourite multi-purpose tools is Iconosquare (formerly Statigr.am). It allows you to access your account via your web browser, find out which of your photos and videos are getting the most engagement, and track who is following and unfollowing you. Other tools worth mentioning are Schedugram (for scheduling your posts), INK361 (a full-service tool for viewing, scheduling and managing your posts) and Piqora (for helping you find engaging posts to share with your audience). 8. Be consistent Create content and post on Instagram consistently. Don’t abandon the platform for a week or a month and then pick it up again. If you’re very busy with the affairs of running the brand, you can hire a professional to manage your social media accounts. 9. Make sure your Images truly reflect your brand. Be careful to assure that your Images always reflect your brand. If you are all about Digital Marketing be sure to only post images that are related to that. Don’t post images or videos of a very fast car you believe is fancy. Protect your brand Image. 10. Be part of the Instagram Community Use Instagram to build a geniune relationship with people. There are many ways to build and/or be part of a community on Instagram. Using hashtags allows you to connect with users you may never otherwise have met. Liking and commenting on other people’s photos gets you engaged with the greater community (and often helps you grow your own followers as people reciprocate). Participating in Instagram campaigns intended to further a worthy cause can help you contribute to a greater good (#movember is a great example of a cause perfectly suited for a visual-centric platform like Instagram). Sharing images and videos from events can help your followers feel like they’re in on the action, and are a real part of your community. Is there any important strategy I’ve missed? Which of these worked for you. Let me know in the comments below. Source : https://w3tutor.org/design-branding/10-instagram-marketing-strategies-every-brand-needs-to-know/

IMPORTANCE OF SITEMAPS There are many SEO tips and tricks that help in optimizing a site but one of those, the importance of which is sometimes underestimated is sitemaps. Sitemaps, as the name implies, are just a map of your site – i.e. on one single page you show the structure of your site, its sections, the links between them, etc. Sitemaps make navigating your site easier and having an updated sitemap on your site is good both for your users and for search engines. Even reknown websites such as Google and W3tutor.org use Sitemaps. Sitemaps are an important way of communication with search engines. While in robots.txt you tell search engines which parts of your site to exclude from indexing, in your site map you tell search engines where you’d like them to go. Sitemaps are not a novelty. They have always been part of best Web design practices but with the adoption of sitemaps by search engines, now they become even more important. However, it is necessary to make a clarification that if you are interested in sitemaps mainly from a SEO point of view, you can’t go on with the conventional sitemap only (though currently Yahoo! and MSN still keep to the standard html format). For instance, Google Sitemaps uses a special (XML) format that is different from the ordinary html sitemap for human visitors. One might ask why two sitemaps are necessary. The answer is obvious – one is for humans, the other is for spiders (for now mainly Googlebot but it is reasonable to expect that other crawlers will join the club shortly). In that relation it is necessary to clarify that having two sitemaps is not regarded as duplicate content. In ‘Introduction to Sitemaps‘, Google explicitly states that using a sitemap will never lead to penalty for your site. Why Use a Sitemap Using sitemaps has many benefits, not only easier navigation and better visibility by search engines. Sitemaps offer the opportunity to inform search engines immediately about any changes on your site. Of course, you cannot expect that search engines will rush right away to index your changed pages but certainly the changes will be indexed faster, compared to when you don’t have a sitemap. Also, when you have a sitemap and submit it to the search engines, you rely less on external links that will bring search engines to your site. Sitemaps can even help with messy internal links – for instance if you by accident have broken internal links or orphaned pages that cannot be reached in other way (though there is no doubt that it is much better to fix your errors than rely on a sitemap). If your site is new, or if you have a significant number of new (or recently updated pages), then using a sitemap can be vital to your success. Although you can still go without a sitemap, it is likely that soon sitemaps will become the standard way of submitting a site to search engines. Though it is certain that spiders will continue to index the Web and sitemaps will not make the standard crawling procedures obsolete, it is logical to say that the importance of sitemaps will continue to increase. Sitemaps also help in classifying your site content, though search engines are by no means obliged to classify a page as belonging to a particular category or as matching a particular keyword only because you have told them so. Having in mind that the sitemap programs of major search engines (and especially Google) are still in beta, using a sitemap might not generate huge advantages right away but as search engines improve their sitemap indexing algorithms, it is expected that more and more sites will be indexed fast via sitemaps. Generating and Submitting the Sitemap The steps you need to perform in order to have a sitemap for your site are simple. First, you need to generate it, then you upload it to your site, and finally you notify Google about it. Depending on your technical skills, there are two ways to generate a sitemap – to download and install a sitemap generator or to use an online sitemap generation tool. The first is more difficult but you have more control over the output. You can download the Google sitemap generator fromhere. After you download the package, follow the installation and configuration instructions in it. This generator is a Python script, so your Web server must have Python 2.2 or later installed, in order to run it. The second way to generate a sitemap is easier. There are many free online tools that can do the job for you. For instance, have a look at this collection of Third-party Sitemap tools. Although Google says explicitly that it has neither tested, nor verified them, this list will be useful because it includes links to online generators, downloadable sitemap generators, sitemap plugins for popular content-management systems, etc., so you will be able to find exactly what you need. After you have created the sitemap, you need to upload it to your site (if it is not already there) and notify Google about its existence. Notifying Google includes adding the site to your Google Sitemaps account, so if you do not have an account with Google, it is high time to open one. Another detail that is useful to know in advance is that in order to add the sitemap to your account, you need to verify that you are the legitimate owner of the site. Currently Yahoo! and MSN do not support sitemaps, or at least not in the XML format, used by Google. Yahoo! allows webmasters to submit “a text file with a list of URLs” (which can actually be a stripped-down version of a site map), while MSN does not offer even that but there are rumors that it is indexing sitemaps when they are available onsite. Most likely this situation will change in the near future and both Yahoo! and MSN will catch with Google because user-submitted site maps are just a too powerful SEO tool and cannot be ignored |

There are lots of reasons why webmasters want to have a better SEO, this includes: Increased Page views in search engines To earn better in PPC programmes To get committed clients est. So What Is SEO? Search Engine optimization(SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine’s unpaid results – often referred to as “natural”, “organic” or “earned” results. The earlier and more frequently a site appears on search page, the more visitors it gets. Now that you know what SEO is, let’s dive into the the techniques of improving it. URL STRUCTURE- To increase your chances of appearing on the first page of Google and other search engines, you need to have an “SEO friendly URL”. An SEO FRIENDLY URL looks like this: w3tutor.org/how-to-improve-your-seo. An unfriendly URL looks like this: w3tutor.org/p?1246. The URL to every page or post on your website should explain its content or give a clue of what it contains e.g- w3tutor.org/courses gives an idea that you are about to view an archive of courses. Search engines love such URLs and will reward you with a nice rank. You can setup an SEO friendly link in your settings- permalinks. All CMS allows you to enable this feature. Set it to postname structure. INDEX-WORTHY CONTENT- This is very important. The contents of your webpage should be fairly large and meaningful and updated frequently. Don’t create a post of less than 50 words and expect to be indexed by search engines. Your posts should also flaunt an originality of it’s own. Trust me, you won’t do so well if you copy he whole post on another website and paste it in yours. Google spider will penalize you. Page Speed- If Google or any other search engine discovers a lag or slow speed in your website, your SEo is likely to drop. Read up my tutorial on how to improve website speed to give your web site an incredible speed. Content structure and links- This one is a bit long. This concept was gotten from my knowledge of Google’s bot way of working. For simplicity sake, I’ll use this post as a case study. The title of this post is “How To Improve Your Seo”, the link is also w3tutor.org/how-to-improve-your-seo. The first sentence lis “How To Improve Your Seo” and it’s heading is bold. The featured image of this post is “How To Improve Your Seo”.jpg with an alt tag “How To Improve Your Seo” . The metadata of this post is “How To Improve Your Seo”, and this post is now saturated with “How To Improve Your Seo” . This gives this post an A in SEO. ANYONE searching for SEO will definitely run across my site!. Sitemap- A sitemap collects all your sites URLs and tells search engines exactly how to index your webpage. visit xml sitemap website for more on this. I recommend xml sitemaps . WordPress users can make use of JETPACKs sitemap service. More Info Below. NOW YOU KNOW HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR SEO. YOU ARE GOOD TO GO!. For WordPress users- These tools below will help your SEO (basically they remind you to do what I just thought you and helps you do them) WordPress SEO by Yoast- This plugin is great! I use it in this website. It has an XMl Sitemap service and every other SEO tool you will ever need. Download it from the “ADD NEW” panel in your plugins dashboard. Google Sitemap- This is strictly a sitemap provider. My advice- Install WordPress SEO by Yoast and use it together with Google XML sitemap. Don’t use Yoast for sitemaps UPDATE– It may take some time before Google starts indexing your posts, but if you have quality posts once they start they’ll never stop, as long as you keep these rules. That’s all for now. hope you loved it. I love comments Share
