Also, unlike most people, I refuse to believe the whole north is unsafe. People live there, they are still alive. But if someone doesn't want to go to the north because of security, I see no reason why he/she should be castigated.

I think I get his point. Just as I won't b comfortable in d south. Coz of their way of life is almost opposite with ours.

Yes people die anyhow, anywhere and anytime, but there's an 'awareness' of the fact that you could be up in flames anytime in the north..And that takes away the 'little' sense of security one can have regarding one's life.

Rawdeal: Guy calm down. What's the worst that could happen? They post u to a horrid state and you redeploy or go to camp in Nassarawa or Abuja. You need to take it easy and know thay no matter how hard it seems at first, you'll get thru.

Was speaking with someone about the North this morning and the thought of serving there just filtered through my mind, i must admit it was cringeworthy. I think i'm going to cry if i'm posted there.. But as always: Expect the worst and hope for the best.

I'm not making my hair. I just comb it all thru camp weeks.
I don't know wat choice u need: dyu want help in d choice of braid? Or in d choice of fixing/attachment (that 1 is not my area).
If u want to plait, I'll advice u retouch ur hair today, steam it next week monday n plait a not-too-tiny hairstlye. (Do this on monday). Tuesday, ur ready for camp.
D hairstyle should take u for 2weeks. If u have a friend in camp dat'll loosen n replait for u, GOOD,
If not, just comb thru for 1week, since it won't break (coz of d retouching n steaming).

I hope you'll get more choice to choose from!
