APC Primaries: Wilson Chidozie, Wichtech CEO, Tries to Bewitch INEC With Fake WAEC Certificate

The list of Nigerian politicians who have presented fictitious certificates keeps stretching longer. It is, to put it mildly, shameful and humiliating. Nigerians are considered to be the finest educated black people in the world, according to one US report, and are among the most educated immigrants in the country, both vertically and horizontally – Nigerians are now ironically poster-characters for fraudulent certifications, 419 qualifications, and dubious academic affiliation, which is disgusting.

A shocking yet revealing discovery was made recently about Anambra governorship aspirant, Wilson Chidozie. The WAEC certificate of the CEO of a large Nigerian construction conglomerate, Wichtech, has been discovered to be fake.

The said WAEC certificate was issued in December 2004 which implies that Wilson Chidozie sat for his WAEC examinations at the age of 39. This is exceedingly improbable.

An in-depth research into his history and a thorough study of his biography in his recent publications indicate some mistiness around his secondary school education. None of the publications reveal that he ever sat for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination.

Furthermore, specialists who examined the certificate thoroughly found that multiple modifications had been done, and as a result, many of the details supplied on the certificate are suspicious. According to them, the name on the certificate looks to have been attached, and the passport image appears to be that of someone other than the certificate’s owner.

Wilson Chidozie has been unable to give an actual copy of his presumed WAEC certificate till now, confirming suspicions. In order to play on the intelligence of INEC officials, APC stakeholders, and the naive people of Anambra, all he had to display was a string of funny-looking photocopies. This is a heinous crime that might cast further doubt on other APC’s candidates for the Anambra 2021 gubernatorial elections.

He who seeks equity must do so with clean hands, hence anyone calling for free, fair, and credible APC primaries must first provide legitimate documents before being allowed to run. APC is anticipated to spring into action to protect the party’s image from such a heinous act.

“Prof. Owunari Reputation Span Across The Country” – NANS Blasts UNIPORT SUG President

The Leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS),Rivers State Axis, has lambasted the Students Union President of the University of Port Harcourt for accusing Prof. Owunari A. Georgewill, a frontline aspirant for the Position of the Vice Chancellor of allegedly recruiting cultists.

In a statement made available to Igbere TV on Monday, Comr. Tekena George, NANS JCC Chairman, Rivers State Axis said Prof. Onwunari reputation span across the Country.

He noted that the embattled Students Union President,Mr. Sowari Dikibo was on Selfish grounds and Personal aggrandisement.




He further said that NANS members are embittered that Mr. Sowari Dikibo, without Consultation and Consolidation between the Various arms of the Union went on air to speak.

The statement reads in full ;

Federal Republic of Nigeria.

RE: IMPENDING BREACH OF PEACE IN THE UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT.

The attention of the Leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Joint Campus Committee (JCC), led by Comr. Tekena George, a Final Year Pharmacy Student of the University of PortHarcourt, have been drawned to a purported publication making rounds in sponsored media supposedly signed by one Mr. Sowari Dikibo, the embattled Students Union President of the University of Port Harcourt.

The Publication, amongst other points, alleged that Prof. Owunari A. Georgewill a Frontline aspirant for the Position of the Vice Chancellor, did the following;

A. Sponsoring Cult related activities to truncate the peaceful flow of activities in the University.

B. Proclaiming himself as a self anointed candidate by RT. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Ameachi and,

C. Running a Parallel Government in the University of PortHarcourt as an Acting Vice Chancellor.

The Leadership of NANS in the State frowns at flagrant display of the Mr. Sowari Dikibo, as these actions taken do not conform to the 3Cs of Aluta.

NANS is bewildered that other Union Officers ranging from the Executive, Legislative and Judiciary of the said Union have been on diverse media platforms, dissociating themselves from the publication.
It is therefore worthy to note that the decision of the embattled Students Union President was on Selfish grounds and Personal aggrandisement.

We are embittered that Mr. Sowari Dikibo, without Consultation and Consolidation between the Various arms of the Union went on air to speak.

At this Juncture, NANS Leadership asks the following questions;

1. How would an individual mobilise cultist to disrupt activities of a School that has been shut down for almost 3 months?

2. Which Adminstrative office/building is Prof. Owunari using for his parallel Government and since when?

3. What was the Source of his information about recruiting Cultist to disrupt activities of the School.

Let us leave other points raised as they were callous, pointless and demeaning of a Supposed Students Leader of repute.

If for nothing sake, Distinguished Prof. Owunari Georgewill reputation span across the Country and even beyond the Continent. It is Saddening that such unfounded allegations can be ascribed to a Cheerful, Students Friendly, God Fearing and Forthright academia.

The making and appointment of a Vice Chancellor does not rely on the hands or decisions of the Students, but the Visitor, i.e. The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

We apologize to Prof. Owunari Georgewill for the recalcitrant actions of the supposed Union President.

We therefore apologize to the Minister of Education, to forgive the self-styled and self acclaimed President, as the Positions stated in his publication does not reflect the interest of the Students Union let alone all Nigerian Students in the University.

Of truth when it comes to matter of security i think Enugu State government have been trying in recent times. I pray God strengthen the governor more to tackle insecurity in the state totally.
