I lived under army rule, my friend. It was the same thing that is happening now, that was happening then. Looting? Live. Corruption? Live. Naira falling? Well well. People running abroad....live and direct.

Plus even if army took over, they will still face the same debt that is on our back from IMF and the Chinese. Any economic policy has to be taken with that debt in mind. That is how we got SAP Under IBB. Accumulated debts from the Shagari and after the Buhari admin. Plus the ones we accumulated from 1960.

Many of you don't even want to do the hard work of democracy. Na to sit down and to chop you wan do. If you want better government, get up and get doing. If not, don't ask the army to do it for you. We are still dealing with the mess they left behind.

1999-2007, Obj attempted a complete removal of fuel subsidy. He failed.

2007-2009, Yaradua couldn't stomach the hike in fuel price foisted on him by Obj. He reverted!

2009-2015, Jonathan was harangued. He increased the pump price. It was rejected. He reduced.

2015-2023, Buhari increased the pump price of fuel. Buhari couldn't go any further.

From 1999-2023, billions and trillions of naira were wasted on fuel subsidy.

Nigeria's fuel consumption is around 5m litres/day. Subsidy was paid for about 60m ltrs/day of fuel import receipts.

Criminality! Check out the logic!

Nigeria imports 60m litres of subsidized fuel per day.

Nigerians consume only about 5m litres out of this 60m ltres.

About 55m litres of fuel, subsidized by Nigerian govt, were smuggled to Cameroon, Benin, Niger and beyond or never imported but paid for.

This is a mess! Past presidents tolerated from 1999-2023!? Unbelievable!

All the while, our national refineries were sabotaged. TAMs could resuscitate any of them.

Tens and thousands of certificates were issued to investors to build refineries in Nigeria.

Who invests in an economy where there is no price security?

Now, fuel subsidy is gone. The sector is deregulated completely. Price war is here!

Leadership needs people with balls!! Hard balls!

Tinubu came screaming "emilokan". Some said Tinubu is gone. He survived.

Tinubu came screaming "fuel subsidy is gone". Some thought he was mad but things remain quiet.

Dangote Refinery is operating independently without subsidy demands.

Our refineries are creeping back to life, one after another.

Tinubu's LG autonomy is now a reality. Past Presidents dreaded!

Tinubu's Tax Reform Bill got some people threatening. The 36 governors have accepted and endorsed it.

Student Loan! Another masterstroke! Our past presidents didn't think about it.

Leadership needs balls! Patriotism needs balls too!!

Don't count it an achievement when we squander the future of our children today.

Tinubu needs to be studied as a course, he is very unpredictable so much so, his enemies cannot predict his next moves. All these Governors, rather than learn from Jagaban, they're busy fighting their predecessors.
Show me any projects of Buhari that Tinubu has abandoned?, none. He's going to complete everything and also build his own projects, that's how to build legacy and write your name in gold. Past Presidents have come and cancel projects of their predecessors to score cheap political points. This very project must be completed, we have already obtained loans for it and work is ongoing, it would be foolish to stop it. It is also very important to send a message to the Junta in Nigeria republic that Nigeria is not having any beef with the country. Niger is our little brother, if we use one hand to smack them on the butt, we use the other hand to draw them closer.
