The Dangote Refinery seems to be one if not the largest project going on the Africa continent currently. It's a project that has gulped lots of billions of dollars, break some technological protocol, it has involved a lot of technical and advanced engineering. People on this site work day in, day out to make sure the refinery receives the best and meet up with the timeline. For example, the 2760 ton RFCC regenerator, is the largest of its kind in the world which was made in South Korea. According to Dangote, he has to build its own port in order to accommodate all these mega machineries as no Nigerian port can accommodate any of these items. The CEO/Founder Mr. Aliko Dangote while speaking with Mo Ibrahim recently, when he was asked to comment about the refinery, he said, " it can be considered the largest project in the world when considering all various construction around the area". One hard fact is when he says the refinery section of the project has 136,000 piles, more than anywhere else in the world. When the refinery is finished, it is expected that it will produce 650,000 barrels of crude daily. According to Aliko Dangote, the refinery has gulped $130billion so far. The site was about 2 million square meters in size was bought for the sole aim of the refinery from both the Federal and State Government. According to the images we have seen so far, work at this site is nothing but a mega one. Lots of work are on-going simultaneously which leaves no room for negligence from the workers in any way. The pile foundation, civil construction, grid flow production tasks, and the grid installation work are ongoing. At the completion of this project, it's said to create thousands of job opportunities for the youths and for those in the oil sector thereby saving the nation a huge amount of money from foreign refineries. AutoReportNG got some images from the companies handling the project, we felt its important to report back to you on how they fare.

cossano:Bro the thing here is that you came late. We're not denying that our country is not better. We know that our country has already fvcked up big time, our government has taking us to the wrong place. But your brothers here the ones denying Everything, instead of them to accept that their country is not unstable but they will keep denying it and still lying untop and that is why we are also doing the same thing. You should start from the beginning of the thread and see how it goes. Most of our nigeria brothers are no more interested but your foolish brothers will still bring something bad about nigerians/Nigeria to provoke the nigerians so that they will continue the argument again. They don't want to let this argument go? |

The question on the lips of many Nigerians have been when will the Lagos-Ibadan Railway start work after all the minister promised last year that by May 2019 the train would have been working. In as much as we try to reply series of emails, calls, and messages on the social media, it is expedient to note that we can't answer all the questions as we don't work directly or closely with the minister of transportation, RT. Hon Rotimi Amaechi but we can assure you that work is ongoing at various locations at Lagos, Ibadan, and Abeokuta. The minister was in Lagos recently where he toured Apapa, Constain, Ebute, Agege and Agbado Stations to see things for himself and see how work is going. For example, Costain is getting a new Bridge, as part of the Lagos-Ibadan Rail project. The old Bridge will be demolished (it’s too low for the new train), Construction has already started on the new one. Also, Demolitions are ongoing from the site of the Apapa Station to make way for the railway line. Recently, the completion of all civil works and this include, embankment, cuttings, culverts, and bridges have been completed, also, out of the 156.8km Lagos - Ibadan Railway, Section 3 of the measured 45km road between chainage DK75 to DK120 has been done and civil works of this section which includes a 6.67 million cu.m of earthworks, 1 major bridge, 2 medium bridges, 5 underpasses, 12 overpasses, and 72 culverts have all been completed. The Bridge at DK77 has been completed too and ready to be used. So far, the tracks now stand at KM 123, now in Oyo State they promised to get to the final stop (KM 158) in Ibadan by end of May or early June These are some of the images from the site across the 3 states.

tylann:Everyday we're developing our cities. We're not focusing on one City like you people. Thanks to AutoReportNG ![]() For those who live around Agbara, Lusada area in Ogun State, they will tell you that life can't be worse than roads in these areas. Agbara is a manufacturing hub, one of the money-spinning hub for both the federal and state government, IGR from these factories alone can confidentially fund the budget of some states in Nigeria but it's a pity that roads leading to their factories are more of a death trap. People living at Agbara have cried out to the governor of Ogun State to repair the road in this area as trailers, tankers and other private vehicles ply these road daily, these road has been neglected for years with promises from both the state and federal to do something. It got to a stage that residents have to embark on a peaceful protest last year but this does not move any of the state agencies. At a point when the people are beginning to accept their fate, the state government seem to remember them and has begun a reconstruction work on the Agbara-Lusada Road. In a press release written by Mr. Ajayi Olatubosun, who is the Community Liaison Officer for Igbesa, he explained that the project was reconstructed by the Guangdong Community within the Free Trade Zone as part of their( 1)corporate social responsibility to the community and (2)as a PPP agreement on Built Operate and transfer(BOT) under the approval of the State Government having a bilateral " Memorandum of Understandings " ( MoU). Read his statement below... Dear Fellow Citizens / Residents. I am desirous in extending and expressing my delight thereby sending forth my APPRECIATION for your cooperation and support ever exhibited since the " Reconstruction ' road project in place along Igbesa - Oba Adesola Mkt.(Lusada)road. Our undaunted and unflinching love ever accorded the Client, Contractors and other Consultants on the site has yielded a positive effects which tremendously facilitated the good work ever recorded and experience at the site. However, it is of high note to explain emphatically that the ongoing TEN(10)kilometres road project is a typical Reconstruction Project embarked upon and financially sponsored by the Guangdong Community within the Free Trade Zone as part of their( 1)corporate social responsibility to the community and (2)as a PPP agreement on Built Operate and transfer(BOT) under the approval of the State Government having a bilateral " Memorandum of Understandings " ( MoU). Besides, the efforts on place has been proved beyond every reasonable doubt that its a thorough construction against a purported peddling damaging rumour of undergoing Rehabilitation. Its also carry on simultaneously with the sides drainage for easy passages of waters and downpours. Technical. professionally and couples with Consultancy initiatives, the ongoing feeder road is being planned , designed, manned monitored and heavily supervised by Construction Experts spanning from Civil Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Land Surveyors, Architects, to mention a few. The level of work ever put into place had guaranteed the road construction beyond a mere Rehabilitation. It has been affirmed, a thorough Reconstruction that had its " Insitu- Density " test deeper and perfectly certified beyond Rehabilitation. Here attached are appendix photographs of the extent of work in progress for our perusal. Thanking you all for your understanding as We Pray for the completion of the project soon. AutoReportNG is a bit confused as we can't say if the Chinese company will embark on the total reconstruction of the Igbesa, Atan, and Lusada road or its just a portion of the Lusada axis. No matter the case, trust us to always keep you posted. See more of the images below...

It's no news that the presidency has given directives to trailers and tankers plying the Apapa port area to vacate immediately. According to the directive, they have less than 72hours to comply and an order has been given to the Nigerian Navy, Nigeria Police, The Army, and Lagos State Government to see to it that the port and all its extensions are rid off tankers and trailers in 14 days. As much as the people are happy with with the directive and applauded the presidency for finally taken the bold steps to rid Lagos of this menace, many have been asking where these tankers will go. It's one thing to give a directive and its another thing to provide a solution that won't make them to go back to this spot again. Many do not know that the federal government has already began constructing some trucks park around Tin Can close to the port. AutoReportNG got some exclusives image from the company handling the marking project of this park. The project is the 350 capacity new Apapa Tin Can Truck Park in conjunction with the Federal Ministry of Power Works and Housing and Borini Prono. The federal government uses the Tektron Engineering for the truck park demarcation, directional symbols, and numbering. These are exclusive images of the park...
