Kenya and Ethiopia are not 50/50, man. Experience counts a lot in determining the strength of national militaries. As you know, the Ethiopian armed forces are more experienced in warfare, especially country on country warfare than the Kenyans.

And the same explanation applies to why Nigeria is ranked over countries like Morocco. The last time the Moroccan armed forces saw real action was in 1962 or so.

What about the South African armed forces. When last did they experience serious action

I tire o. Many of them after running to some of the smaller countries get stranded and suffer so much they have to beg folks at home to send them money to come back. How can a sane person compare Nigeria to Kenya where people are starving and more than 60% of its people live in slums worse than Makoko? Unemployment rate in Kenya is about twice Nigeria's, not to talk about their low GDP per capita. And then a clown had to throw a completely useless country like Somalia into the equation.
