Differentiate btw absolute and relative poverty. Even in US or any developed world - there are people who are classified as poor. For example anybody earning say less than 20K USD per annum would be poor in US...but they have nearly zero absolute poverty.

Absolute or international poverty line - there is very little of that in South Africa - while Nigeria are leading the world.
