erniok: Propaganda is an essential part of war to boost troops morales and also quieten home front. US employed it in Vietnam war when they lied about number of viet congs killed.
But what purpose does that serve here since Nigeria( I believe we all are Nigerians) is in no way involved in this war. Whose morales are these Propaganda boosting. Unfortunately, propoganda is the 2nd nature of the west, I guess smaller powers are learning from them as a form of countering the western narrative. Propoganda by the west was used to destroy Libya and Iraq. Same was used to reduce Zimbabwe, Cuba and Venezuela to what they are today. The only country that actually withstood the western propoganda remains China because they were smart enough to lock out the west. |

Ghostagain: No need. In Europe, they reserve the word "antisemitic" for "judeophobia". It's not about etymology, it's just a choice which I didn't make. And I don't understand why fight on this particular thing. Well Europe is not the world. That they do such in Europe doesn't automatically change the meaning of the word. |

Ghostagain: 1. Zionists are of many religions, including Christianity and Islam. 2. "Antisemitisme" is used in European languages to signify "judeophobia". I didn't make these languages, I just have to use them, so I use them well. Semitic refers to both a language family and the people historically connected to those languages. It is not a race in the modern scientific sense. It is a linguistic and cultural classification. 1. What “Semitic” means (simple view) The term comes from Shem, a figure in the Bible. Early scholars grouped certain Middle Eastern peoples as “descendants of Shem,” so they called them Semitic. Today, the meaning is more precise: It refers mainly to people who speak or historically spoke Semitic languages It is tied to language, culture, and history, not skin color or genetics alone. 2. Semitic languages These languages form a branch of the Afro-Asiatic language family. Major examples: Arabic Hebrew Amharic (spoken in Ethiopia) Aramaic (historically widespread) Common traits: Root-based word system (usually 3 consonants) Similar grammar structures Shared ancient origins 3. Who are Semitic people? Semitic people are those whose ancestry is linked to these languages and cultures. Major groups: Arabs (Middle East, North Africa) Jews (linked to ancient Hebrews) Assyrians (Iraq, Syria region) Ethiopian Semitic groups (like Amhara and Tigray) These groups are diverse in: Skin color Culture Religion National identity So don’t box them into one “look” or “type.” 4. Important clarification People misuse the term a lot. “Semitic” ≠ only Jews “Semitic” includes Arabs and others “Anti-Semitism” is commonly used to mean hatred of Jews, even though technically it could apply to other Semitic groups 5. Bottom line Semitic = language + historical connection Not a strict race category Covers a wide range of people from the Middle East and parts of Africa. Tbe Zionists just love to covert everything to themselves. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Procashtips(m): 8:22pm On Mar 24 |
Ghostagain: Now, this is counterproductive and it's this line of reasoning which actually helps Zionists.
Blaming people for their victimhood is also what is being done to palestinians. And being antisemitic in such a discussion only brings discredit and reinforces support for the genocide. Is Semitic or antisemitic only applicable to the Zionist even though the semitic people also comprises of the Palestinians, Iraqis etc? |

dermmy: They fear a ceasefire and are trying by all means to justify the war and want it to continue. This is their last opportunity to destroy Iran and render it powerless. A failed attempt already. Iran is the only reason they are yet to destroy all of Syria, Jordan, Palestine and Lebanon. (I wouldn't care if they actually take over Jordan though) |

killsmith: Walking off the pitch without referee authorisation is forfeiting the game. And who then completed the match? The ref was the only one to declare forfeiture and must have been that day. The fact that the match continued and Morrocco lost the PK that would have given them the trophy on a platter overrides your assertion. You can't forfeit a game that was completed. |

killsmith: That means there should be no punishment for walking off the field, yeah? They fined the country and the coach already. Few days after the match. The only other punishment would have been from the ref on that field, not outside the field of play. |
