Go through this thread from the beginning to end. I advise you to start early cos getting appointment for either Superlegalization or interview is becoming more difficult.

My program is starting this month, February.

It do happen but however, I'm surprised you weren't allowed to be interviewed. In some (rare/occasional) cases, you'd be allowed to be interviewed and maybe after a month, you'd be asked to come for a second interview. They wouldn't even tell you about the possibility of a second interview during your first appointment.

Well thanks for your response. I’m still waiting to be contacted. Do you think I should write the embassy ?

I went for my Czech visa appointment yesterday and after collecting my documents and issuing me receipt for visa application payment plus Superlegalization of PCC I was asked to go that the embassy will send me another invitation mail for interview on a later date. Mind you this is after I already did biometrics o and someone was interviewed right under my nose. The man collecting documents told me it’s a new procedure. Please when did this new procedure start? Has anyone experienced it before and how long does it take before you’re called back for the interview or do they now issue Visa without interview once your documents are complete…I’m confused right now cos all my documents are complete.
