Love ‘Under the Weather'

‘Those three words' from the crack of dawn
But it’s been a month of Sundays that I’m chasing shadows
‘Deep down I know we can strike a chord
Till then, my heart mates sorrow like I’m dating shadows

There is this sweetness in my heart around a memory of you
Truly I should need some medication for cardiac diabetes
The FOUR may be blind in your traditional axiom of mood
But I’m not; just a blur vision from my heart’s conjunctivitis

These tsetse flies sting, yet no sleep in my sleeplessness
Those proboscides submit to my heart’s insomnia
Even when I dose in my natural business of giddiness
My sleep isn’t clear – a darkness breeding myopia

My heart have tried that, and have tried this
Now, Inflamed heart tissues; this is arthritis
No flow in Emirates Airways; an Arsenal attack
Obstructions in my air ways; an asthma attack

My brain is in disorder: I may need two poles
To erect in this order; it must only be bipolar
‘Cause again you said no, and it was two strokes
Your answer is a disease, like cerebrovascular

I pleaded once, twice, and now a baker’s dozen
And in disaster have you returned my hunger cry
The weather is scorching like a baker’s oven
Still, all you bake keeps my heart in ‘hunger strike'

You have eating me up the right way
The right because I feel the right pain
Pain in the right – my large intestine
I obviously reveal, it’s not clandestine

Even Ben, my Doctor falls sick to hell
He realizes he’s battling tough sickle cell;
Just because he heard I have the syndrome of Parkinson
My love, I’m glued sick and stuck to you; not even Ben Carson
