It is said that where there is a dead matter there you find vultures.
Nigeria's case may not be far from this fact.
Since the days of our colonial masters, Nigeria among other nation has been a breeding ground for thieves, defrauders and other fraudulent activities.
This is true in every cases of transactions that tends to take place in Nigeria.
Imagine, Intercontinental bank for instance. The said Bank was charging N50 for every withdrawal made from their ATM points for accounts holders. But after many grumbling from the masses, they have just revert that system to N100 withdrawal monthly for account holders.
My big question now is that no body sees this as an act of defrauding suffering Nigerians? What happens to the fund they have been siphoning from humble customers before now? What about MTN and co?
Nigeria are just pleased with whatever comes their way, without objection or they have become cowards?

It's been said that there are many system of governance in every given nation.
Few of these are: Democracy, Monarchy, Anarchy, etc.
But what surprises me up till now is the type of government that is being practice in Nigeria. We can not called this Monarchy, because in monarchical system of governance, one person (male/female) is at the helm of affairs dishing out rules by Legislating, executing and enforcing the laws all by one figure. Neither can we call our system Democracy, because as it's define, is a government of the people, by the people and for the people, which in practice, creates 3 arms (executives, legislatives and the enforcement) which also provides for separation of powers between the 3 arms of government.
But in Nigeria, the reverse is the case. However, it maybe, permit me to say that no one wish the existence of Anarchy, but Nigeria situation is almost like the latter.
Our Mr President is indispose and hospitalized for over 3 months now. Have we really feel his absence since then? The new Acting-whatever, is there hope of improve situation? What is happening to the mayhem at Jos? What about the 7 point agenda?
If i may ask fellow Nigerians, is it cowardliness natural gentleness that is having way in our lives.
Is it better to be slave in your country, or be a King in another man's country, which is far better?

I am total fed up with the general situation of things, where survival is for the fittest.

Now it has gone from Nigeria Delta to Edo, Enugu and Anambra States respectively. It has also gone from oil workers to politicians and actors.
Because the government officials go about with bullet – proof vehicles and high security officials, they are not concern with this menace.

i think we are in a lawless society.
i have highly respect Mr Fashola and his ruling ideas, but this very act pease me off. How could a S.A.N., an advocate of the law and a learneth personality of his kind just wake up and the only advice available to him is to shut down a whole market, not some shops or what ever, but the whole business arena. He is too much for this kind of embarrasement. He could have follow due process, which is pre-inform the affected people, go on air and announce the govt aim and the conseqeunce, then strike if all that yield no result. We are not in a touting society. Do you see what he did? He knew that every thursdays is market sanitation in Lagos state and that all business opens from 10.00am, so they planned and invade the villa before people could resume that morning. If they knew what they are doing is right, why not come in the day time and send people away after warning them of any resistance?
And the worst of all, some people are saying "go to the western world and see how they pay taxes" undermining the processes and how thoses taxes are being utilized. Here in Nigeria, we pay various taxes, from VAT to local govt dues, and if ever the govt wish to introduce or enact any other measure, it should have go through the right process and it will be welcome.
I want to say at this time that this man is driving ernestly towards failure, if i may put.
We should be wise and rise to civilian dictatorship.
