I have been self taught in Python and shell, small c too
I tend to get things stuck but after a while grasp it the more
I have tried to move to C due to my preference but I rarely code these days
More like I went to fast for someone barely six months in consistent coding
I'm mostly tired of watching tutorials or reading e-books especially in Python and its affecting me going into c and java maybe Python was too easy to have started with
I just need a mentor to guide me
I chose the path to cyber security but I taught being a solid programmer first is what I need and that's why I don't wanna start any cyber security course yet
I just need guidance I feel like am rushing or learning things the bad way

Nothing is wrong with it but the code has already been written by Java creators. The purpose of this thread is to help you learn how to write those codes yourself.

When playing games where you have to roll two dice, it is nice to know the odds of each roll. For instance, the odds of rolling a 12 are about 3%, and the odds of rolling a 7 are about 17%. You can compute these mathematically, but if you don’t know the math, you can write a program to do it. To do this, your program should simulate rolling two dice about 10,000 times and compute and print out the percentage of rolls that come out to be 2, 3, 4, ..., 12.

Question

Write a program that converts a binary number to a decimal one.
Example 101 --> 5, 1001011 -->75

after writing the code in your preferred IDE, take a screenshot of it and share it here and the outputs. Please I don't
need plain text on Nairaland, I need a screenshot, it is better and more helpful.

Here is the format:

Question:
Write a program that converts a decimal number to binary one.
example 5 --> 101, 75 --> 1001011

Solution:
There might be many ways of solving this, I can only think of two ways to solve.

1. Applying repeated division by 2 and thereafter return the remainders.
2. Using bitwise operations.

I will code it using the second method, here is the screenshot of the algorithm and some outputs.

@progeek37, I figured the problem with my strong password detector program. I didn't read the question correctly. It states write a function and I've been doing it without a function. Will rewrite it to give out the correct answer.
