FamilyRe: HELP! My Brother Is Too Dull by Prolificdeman: 8:45am On May 30, 2020
Gundel001:
Hi good day my fellow Nairalander please I will really need your experience about this issue. Please help me read to the end as it is a little bit long.

My junior brother is 14 years old and to be sincere I haven’t seen anybody as dull as him. I don’t know if it is natural but I just can’t understand why someone at that age could still be struggling with very simple arithmetic. My brother can’t write 1 – 150 correctly at 14.

He seems too dull; note he attends one of the best private school around our area, though I know you might say maybe education is not his way but even if you want to drop out from school you should know some basic things like money, time, multiplication and so on but my brother doesn’t know anything I must say, even to write his name correctly is a problem. It is making everyone unhappy lot of money is being spent on lesson teachers and other things for him still no improvement.

I am a student of one of the top federal University in Nigeria same as my other siblings even at both secondary and undergraduate level we were always above average so I can’t say his problem is genetic. I really wants to know what is the problem with him nairalanders. After I finished secondary school I once taught some pupils in primary school though there were dull ones too there but with time I could see improvement unlike my brother i always try to teach him from time to time but it kind of frustrating as he doesn’t even seems like he will ever grab anything and he doesn’t behave like he wants to learn anything.

He makes it seems as if he is not interested book or arithmetic at all …we all tried talking to him endless time to always read any time he his less busy but he never does except he is being forced.

He rarely talks, he loves to keep to himself always, he doesn’t have interest in anything unlike we the others that are die hard football fans, most times my mom will tell him to even go out to play and mingle he will not still want to go, he prefer to stay at home seating all day without reading or doing anything, even if it is to draw or play football he wont.

This matter is not making everyone happy at home we don’t even know the solution to his problem again, as in imagine having a child that is 14 years old that doesn’t know the difference between 17 and 71 it is just so bad…..

We don’t know if his case is mental or spiritual. please nairalanders I know there are child experts in the house or anybody who have experienced something like this before what do you think is the problem and possible solutions to the problem your contributions are welcome.

Please help me push this pleaseeeeee
Have you watched "Like Stars of the Earth"?
He might be suffering from the same issue as that little boy. Kindly take him to a therapist, he would be fine sooner or later.
HealthRe: Coronavirus: Babafemi Adebayo Dies In Brazil As Wife Cries, Begs Him To Wake Up by Prolificdeman: 10:36pm On May 15, 2020
Reminds of the day my Dad passed away at Onitsha general hospital, 2017 precisely.

Mum collapsed. I couldn't decipher what was going on. Thought it was a prank.

I was only pressing Dad on his chest thinking I can get hold of his life. Alas! his time was up.

To date, mum still gets the psychological effect.

If you witness where someone is at the point of death, you just gotta make every minute count positively.

For the bereaved family, God will pave way for your kids. Cry less Madam.

If my Mum can produce two graduates, a doctor, and Architect with a meager $240 salary the same year, then nothing happens without the approval of God.

It's hard but achievable.

We will all live this space someday.

RIP Sir. Till we meet again.
CelebritiesRe: Chinese Man Goes Completely Naked While Fighting A Black Man In China (video) by Prolificdeman: 12:32pm On Apr 21, 2020
This Hilarious grin grin...man used blow to reset their default setting. Chinese Nigga running around like an amputee dog.
I pray they don't deport the man as their level of hatred towards blacks these days is alarming.

Bro you're a good writer per se.

I find myself commenting on relationship post these days...dont know why.

But here's the catch.

When a girl is heart broken, theres high chance she will find a backup plan to forget her temporary sorrows.

But then..if the guy comes back for her..bro forget she won't hesitate to accept back.

Do you know how they started? Bond they shared before Mr. uncertainty came through

Bro forget, you're just a victim of circumstance. No hard feelings.

Don't mete the same punishment on an innocent girl. Your own bae sure will come...

Girls shall...

RomanceRe: What's That Secret You Are Hiding From The Person You Are Dating Right Now? by Prolificdeman: 8:54am On Apr 13, 2020
Lots of derogatory comments here. But I believe its only kids that can vomit these trash.

One point you should know is that the more you get old, the harder it'd be to find true love.

I value women a lot, and yet to have a GF but once its right, I'm gonna treat her like a princess.
PoliticsRe: Dayo Razaq Lawal Was The Nigerian Who Retrieved Passports Of Nigerians In China by Prolificdeman: 5:01pm On Apr 11, 2020
All these people shouting afonja and cone head are jobless persons, feeding from their mother's pot with their 1gb weekly data.

You can hardly see a responsible fellow making such derogatory statements.

See outside the shores of this country, no one knows any tribe, they all see us as Nigerians. No gooddam discrimination.

Most of the people that have helped my life are all Yorubas and I met all on this forum.

I guess people are yet to see both sides of the internet — a trap and liberator.

We better be mindful of our utterances on this forum. And learn to make meaningful commentaries.

Who knows when his destiny helpers will him/her.

Enough of all these bants!
