No .there's no special detergent for the LG or any front loader.

OP Front loaders are generally less reliable than top loaders and it's because of their (front L) complexity.Although, I will never trade the comfort for reliability. My current front loader washes, rinses,spins and drys automatically. This is 2020, and nobody should use the old school manual top loader which this guy is telling you.

The top loader LG I used at home during my secondary school days is still working perfectly tho,being used my my mum. But will I prefer it? Capital No.

I will give u the best advice l will give a brother..... Go for a top loader washing machine brand hisense 10kg price 65k since 2018 it has been serving us no issues...mind you we dey wash cloth like mad... And for top loader you can use any detergent but that LG No they have special detergent for it.... Then in term of parts availability, top loader have more parts in the market than the one picture....

I bought a UK used one for 70k almost 2yrs ago and I have had no issues or problems with it.

I googled the review. Generally, there were good and bad review. You know how electronics generally are, some will have good experience while some will have bad experience.so it was a mix of both
