To be honest, we may have missed out on Carney Chukwuemeka. He has the profile that could have solved a lot of those problems in our midfield. If Nigeria had qualified for the World Cup, we might have had a better chance of convincing him to commit to us ahead of Austria. A midfield with his ball-carrying ability, creativity, and technical quality would have added a different dimension to the team.

Alhassan Yusuf and Nnadi bring the physicality, energy, and aggression we desperately need in midfield. They can win battles, protect the defense, and dominate the center of the park.
Iwobi should be given the freedom to operate higher up and provide those killer passes that unlock defenses. He has the vision and creativity to make things happen in the final third.
That said, Alhassan Yusuf also has quality on the ball and can pick out decisive passes when needed. This combination gives us the perfect balance of steel, energy, and creativity in midfield.
