For me, it will always be Spartacus above everything else, the beautiful acting, the incredible characters, the amazing (and true) story, the romance, and everything in spartacus just left me shaking and often in tears after every episode, most people dismiss spartacus as porn and violence, which is really unfortunate, you're missing out on a fantastic adventure full of shining examples of the human spirit, this show has really inspired me and the story of spartacus is absolutely incredible.

Game of thrones is a fantastic show, i have nothing bad to say about it really (everyone else here feels the need to slander the other show it seems) i just don't connect with the characters as well, everytime a character in spartacus died, my heart would stop and i would have to fight back tears, when spartacus fell i was noticeably weeping, my mother also watches spartacus and she stayed in bed for 3 days after the spartacus finale it affected her so much, it was almost as if we had lost a close friend, Steven Deknight did a fantastic job at getting the audience to LOVE not like the characters in spartacus, each had a purpose , and all of them went violently, it was a beautiful tragedy, it just goes to show you what the oppressed can overcome, and never to doubt what a SINGLE man can accomplish.
