Mandeyy:That's the essence of a forum...to run checks. At times when you read some posts, who will keep wondering who exactly composed them. A quick run through their previous posts will tell you how to handle them, whether to just ignore and if you need to reply, how to. It's a usual background check method, even in recruitments today. Organizations run through applicants' social media contents and all to have an inkling as to their orientation. So, I didn't check through to know who was a doc or not. I checked through to see the contents of their previous posts and got to know more. Should I have ignored posts stating that the concerned persons are not in positions to discuss med, not to talk of ranking? Certain subject matters are better understood by being in the system. Nothing like judgement here, just mere checks. You, for example. Review the first 2 pages of your previous posts here on nairaland and ask yourself questions. Your posts show someone who argues a lot, even when there are no need to. They show someone who insult people at every slight opportunity. Lots of tribalistic and religiously corrosive posts there too. I didn't owe you any explanations but I needed to point out the reasons for running through some selected people's activities which is contrary to how you portrayed it. You can run through mine too. The indicators that supposed medical doctors or students here use to rate schools are annoying. How they come to some conclusions is more annoying. Amazingly, most people stay at the comfort of their homes, dishing out the "best" and the "worst" schools. Such people are derailing the thread fast. I will implore those set of people to read the early pages of this thread and maintain the status quo. The thread is meant to be for stuffs and guide aspirants which the topic clearly points to. Let's the guided please. Modified: I went through the profiles(previous posts/topics) of some indicted posters, most of them are confirmed not to even be medical students or doctors. We all should kindly note that IMEI number is quite sensitive and part of the proof of ownership of the device. In mobile tracking, your IMEI is a very vital thing and the day a security agent told me of the extent of the sensitivity was when I started blurring it out on phones' pix for ads. Giving such to a random person isn't going to be fresh and as such I will implore us all to be cautious. I think this promoter should rather channel his energy to promoting the products,get more sales to retain his job. I believe if he aggressively market the product the way he is begging for IMEI numbers, he would surpass his target sef.
