I feel One ad per day is OK. Possibly, there comes a time when ads are stopped completely but at this point, I feel it's best we take it one step at a time.

I'm a seller too and infact, my suggestion is kinda harsh on me, but that's the answer to the incessant ad wails on this thread.

Remember the number of sellers when 1 ad per page was proposed. Then, there were pages without ads sef when none of the then sellers were online till d pages started and ended.

Attempts to set ad frequency/Qty will breed another challenge, given the number of sellers now

I think i go with saint2ace's submission, a total ban will not be good as we have guests who are guided by the ads.

Moderation is the key, we have added 3 pages today and Macbeyand has dropped ad twice while Noobody has done once. What stops them from dropping ads again if there is no "check and balance"?

If tweaking enthusiasts who are guests too can be referred to the tweaking thread, I don't think that should be a problem with ads if we are serious about the issue.

Nothing stops them(macbeyland & Noobody) from dropping further ads on subsequent pages today if there are no other sellers to drop ad na

As a matter of fact, imagine with a 2 ad per day "moderation", macbeyland has exhausted his slots for d day. Who happens if we add about 10 pages more for the day? His ads would be on far behind pages. Still today.

What happens on a day we barely complete a page.
Other sellers are to hold. Funny enough, the subsequent page might be taken by the previous seller as well.


But like I told you yesterday, on ads, I stand with the consensus, so far it'll bind absolutely.

The idea of making use of an advert thread makes perfect sense but I also think that an advert here or there doesn't harm anyone, the problem is the format and the frequency and the fact that some resellers just drop ads and walk away with making any contribution whatsoever.

If you ask me, ads can't be moderated on this thread with the number of sellers now.

With a single click from the shared link here, potential buyers will land to the sales thread.

I will suggest a total ban of ads here.
I think ads/pricelists should be treated the way tweaking was treated here.
