The travel & auto sections have stories of NL scammers who take people's money and don't deliver, then they start being very rude and obnoxious to the people they took money from, even going as far as blocking them on all communication platforms.

One of such scammers is a married man with a wife and two kids, I know this because his personal/family photos were plastered on the forum for all to see. Popular opinion will have us believe marriage makes people responsible, yet na married person dey scam shamelessly, like that guy.

All I am saying is be careful and be patient, work your plan yourself and don't look for shortcuts.

Na wao, an internet stranger claims they can get a sensitive document done for you asap in Abuja and you quickly drop your phone number just like that. Where is your sense of caution and discretion?

There are somethings that need to be DIY (do it yourself) and as you DIY, you learn stuff you didn't know and you understand how a process works. So, next time you need to do it again (like a passport renewal in your case) the process is already familiar to you.

Internet/Google research should be your starting point, regardless of the conflicting information on cost/price. At least the search gives you a general knowledge information, then you narrow down your search to reliable websites, which in this case should be the NIS (Nigerian Immigration Service)

After you equip yourself with knowledge and info, go to NIS office to make further inquiries or request clarification on things that are unclear. You don't even live far from Abuja why do you want to take such a risk?

I hope when you're ready to japa, you will thoroughly research your country of destination and diligently do your homework, to avoid being scammed by the numerous travel & immigration agents all over the place.

Abuja would have been your best bet... Nasarawa state is just a stone throw to Abuja..
