The truth is that Dangote fuel is cheaper than the NNPC LTD imported fuel. Reason why the later rushed to increase her retail outlets price and also relia new pricing Tempate across the country. 2. When it was obvious that Dangote was no succumbing to the whims and caprices of the NNPC LTD, they enroll the assistance of the Presidency who shamelessly announced that Dangote cannot sell below the official pump price. 3. Petroleum pump prices are never determine by market forces as claimed but by the dictates of the NNPC LTD, and backed up by the Presidency. 4. So long as the two bodies keep rubbing each other's backs, there's no succour soon. Nigerians will continue to buy at higher prices. |

I don't know what some people gain in lying. To be very honest, the Ohafia -Arochukwu road has been abandoned. The video is showing entirely a road alien to the people of that area. I felt one cardinal indicator of democracy is the how much the government listens to the people. Tinubu himself led a protest against GEJ in 2012 over removal of fuel subsidy. The then President responded by rescinding the decision and revert to the old pump price. HE LISTENED TO THE PEOPLE? Thank God, today he is the president. Rather than listen to the people, Tinubu resorts to arresting them, setting unprecedented bail conditions, even adding more and more to the hardship Nigerians face. 2 Likes |

That's why I uphold the opinion that Nigeria problem is never the constitution but implementation. We have lofty ideas, great policies and programmes but all ends on the pages of papers. The idea of expunging the state pardon from the Constitution will be a good one BUT it will be killed by same people. A typical example was the 9th NASS that reviewed the Electoral Act, to what extent has that Act been upheld? Even our Supreme Court turned the law on its head. (Read the Judgement of the Supreme Court on the 2023 presidential election, you weep for this country) 2 Likes |

Until we learn to hold ourselves accountable, we shouldn't demand others. Nigeria is such a crazy place that to correct a wrong, you must use wrong approach. Or to stem their madness, yourself must grow mad. That's when you'll be reckoned with and respected. It's never a place for gentleman. |
