Science/Technology / Whatsapp Messaging Application Now Serves 800m Users Monthly by Psyafe(m): 1:42am On Apr 21, 2015 |
Well, the folks at Facebook will be celebrating this weekend. The social network’s messaging platform WhatsApp now has 800 million active users every month. If it goes on like this, the service should exceed 1 billion users by the end of the year. Now that’s a lot of chatter. In a Facebook post on Friday, WhatsApp CEO Jan Koum announced that the Facebook-owned service now has 800 million active users every month. This is the latest milestone for WhatsApp, which lets users send messages to other users of the app for free over the internet. It’s available on just about every mobile platform, including iOS,Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry devices. Since it was acquired by Facebook for a hefty $19 billion in a deal that closed back in October, WhatsApp has seen consistent growth. It reached 600 million last August and 700 million in January, only taking another three months to reach 800 million. At this rate WhatsApp could easily exceed 1 billion monthly active users by the end of the year. As it stands though, WhatsApp is one of the largest social services around. In February, Twitter reported a user base of288 million active users a month. In December, Instagram reported300 million monthly users while Facebook - which owns Instagram as well as WhatsApp - reported anaverage of 1.39 billion monthly active users. Despite being the most globally popular messaging app, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg still believes the service has a long way to go before it catches up with the rest of the Facebook ecosystem in terms of business maturity. In his own words: “What I’d say around messaging is we’re pretty early in that cycle… We are about where Facebook was in around 2006 or 2007, where, at that point, Facebook is really just a consumer product. There were no businesses in the ecosystem.” WhatsApp recently launched a voice calling feature on Android, with the feature expected to hit iOS and Windows Phone devices in the next few weeks. Hi fellow Punters, I will like us to consider some things on this thread. The main reason why this thread and the previous ones that have been closed came into existence was because to help each other in making money through punting, some of us work while some are unemployed graduates and undergraduates. I know personally that betting is all about luck. I want us to be encouraging eachother even if someone's bet loses, instead of typing silly things about bet casted or castrated etc. My reason; we have really lost some great punters that drop picks for us on this thread just because the bets got lost, and you made jest of them, definitely they wouldn't be motivated to drop picks again. People like Abmbola, Lukesmith, kelvic, laga, Calebsky, and many more people that I cant remember their names, they used to make great sacrifices before they could drop those picks for us. And if you could notice you hardly see enough picks nowadays. So please, let have a change of mind, and to my friend kingofcasting and other bet casters, you gotta shealth your swords, and let nice people be motivated to help their folks and let us collect some of our money back from those Bookmarkers. Gracias! 9 Likes |

Phones / Microsoft Windows 10 To Reach Manufacturers In June by Psyafe(m): 3:18pm On Feb 11, 2015 |
Microsoft is reportedly aiming to complete the final build of Windows 10 by June. The computing giant intends to distribute the software to its manufacturing partners that month, according to NeoWin. The company is apparently aiming to have the operating system pre-installed on computers ahead of the new school term in September. Microsoft revealed the full version of Windows 10 last month, demonstrating key features including Cortana for desktop, universal apps and seamless integration across platforms. Earlier this week, it was reported that Microsoft could be developing a subscription-based version of the operating system dubbed Windows 365. During its first year, the consumer version of Windows 10 will be offered as a free upgrade to Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows Phone users. The funniest thing about our folks here is that, when they drop like two tips and they won, the next thing is I have created a group on Whatsaap and also join my bbm channel. Afterwards they would start demanding exhorbitant money from you that you should come and subscribe for paid tips which is very ridiculous. No betting tips is 100percent sure, unless you are just lucky, even after doing your proper analysis. It's all about luck! So my dear punters, do your analysis yourselves, you can as well google different betting tips sites on internet, just to complement your own personal analysis and wish yourself goodluck and stop giving people your hand earned money. I have always thought we have this forum to help eachother in making profits in betting and not to be extorting eachother! Sites where you can get some tips that can help, even the sites can not boast of 100percent that your bets would win. www.windrawwin.com www.bettingclosed.com www.soccervista.com There are thousands of free betting sites on the internet, just find them and add your own personal analysis. Wishing all my hommies best of luck and I believe some day we shall win big! All criticisms are welcome and I don't care lol. Ciao! 10 Likes |
