Nairaland makes me to know how tribalistic, aggressive and non-objective we are in Nigeria. |
This is the reward of stealing show in Bayelsa governorship election and # occupy9ja |
yep! i was driving home and a white garment man (looked hungry) approached me and said he saw some rubbish vision... i gave him 2000 naira and told him to shut the fhuck up...
You have played the Maga |
@Op, it is ' virginity ' not 'vagainity'. Kindly effect d correction |
Abeg shut up. Healer ko, killer ni. God doesn't give a $hit about you guys; when will you realize that? Do you know how many children who have cancer and are constantly suffering? Millions! If God doesn't give a $hit about them, why would He give a $hit about Ngozi? Just two days ago, a mad man stormed a school in Connecticut and murdered 26 people(including 20 sweet 6 and 7 year old). Did God help them? I am tired of fucktards who keep relying on a useless God. Ngozi needs money and quality healthcare, not God. If she doesn't get it, she will die.
Useless God? Could this be man? or machine? Seun,i think nairaland needs an anti-spam mechanism |
ochallo: he who goes around seeking casual sex , gets everything it comes with. Next time it would be AIDS and there would be no one to even blame.Kindly read the article again. It was not the corper (Anthony) that patronised the sex worker but a neighbour named Michael. |
Kayusfity: You're irresponsible. Stoopid he-goatLolz. Kindly take it easy. |
and tomorrow, ECOWAS will say they never said anything like that.
I doubt the authenticity of this story. |
THE 4 BASIC LAWS OF DEMAND,SUPPLY AND PRICE 1)If demand increases and supply remains unchanged, there will be increase in price 2)If demand decreases and supply remains unchanged, there will be decrease in price 3)If demand remains unchanged and supply increases, there will further decrease in price 4)If demand remains unchanged and supply decreases, there will be increase in price. **1&4 means scarcity. This can be as a result low production, govt policy, hoarding or artificial scarcity. **2&3 means surplus(or glut as defined by Dangote). This could be function of competition, change in taste, govt policy etc From the foregoing,it could be seen that Dangote is against PRICE REDUCTION. Shutdown decision is an economic sabotage which our govt(apostle of local content and export)should rise up against. Better still, let the market be fully saturated with locally and globally produced products. This will leads to mass competition thus reducing price. Nobody will force him back to business when his aim of creating artificial scarcity becomes futile. Allow economic principles to work naturally and we become a better country and citizens |
Dude all the points you have raised now bothers on funds. How much funds is available to the government? Bro dont compare Ondo state and Imo with Ekiti. Both states have a huge share of money going to them each month as federal allocation and ekiti does not receive that much. They have industries and business that pay tax does ekiti have that? You keep mentioning all these roads as though Ado-ekiti is the only location in Ekiti. If you are in government, you spread out what funds you have between the various local governments. That's why I said it is not easy to carry out multiple capital projects at once. It will become slow when you are doing all the work at once but you will get there eventually
I compared ekiti with ondo and imo in terms of cheap tertiary education. If your assertion of funds is d only reason why it is impossible, why is lagos state owned tertiary institutions paid more despite huge revenue generated internally and nationally? It all bothers on commitment and passion to do it. Gov Fayemi's dream that every pupil in d primary school has a school bag loaded with all needed books and tools is made possible cos of his vision and commitment. ORASE project is possible cos of the Gov's vision and passion. Nothing is impossible. Vision and passion is all it takes. |
Well tax evasion is a big problem. A very big one at that. If you don't pay your taxes, where do you expect the government to get resources to fund schools, hospitals and still pay its staff. You compare ekiti with Imo but Imo collects a large amount from the federal government na. Ondo is the same. Lagos has been able to do all these things they do cos they get a lot of money locally. We can't really condemn states like Ekiti for their performance cos in my opinion, he is trying his best and I hope you know that having multiple road projects is not a small thing
My first comment stemmed out of IJIGBAMIGB's response to EXMAY that: 1)Ado-ifaki road almost completed. 2)Health is free for all inclusive of the aged 3)Having cheap tertiary education is IMPOSSIBLE 4)Previous govt has been too slow on project completion 5)EXMAY's opinion on poor funding of ministries, agencies was also discarded To make d record straight,i asserted that: 1)If cheap tertiary education is IMPOSSIBLE,why is ondo state having it. Why is imo proposing making it free? Here, the assertion of impossibility is my headache. It is possible if govt wants it. All it needed is commitment. 2)Health is not totally free cos i paid when i visited d state hospital recently. Here,i'm not saying i want freebies. The word FREE for all is my headache. 3)Ado-Ifaki road is not nearing completion. The road starts from extreme end of Adebayo road. Pathfinder-EKSU-Iworoko which occupied a large percentage of the road is yet 2b touched. My headache here is d word ALMOST COMPLETED. 4)Impression that road work were stagnant b4 and now it is very fast led to my comparing Fayose's 3 years to design, dualise and commission Ajilosun road which is now taking d incumbent more than 2 years to rehabilitate. 5)From daddy's experience with the state civil service commission,i confirmed that govt agencies were poorly funded. From the foregoing,I'm not in anyway discrediting d governor but issues must be made straight. His employment policy via industrial and tourism development is so darling to me. Curtailing corruption in d civil service through electronic payment is one of his fancy that caught my attention. Urban renewal and rural access and many other are innovations i can credited to him. This does not means because i admire the governor should make me blindly support him by distorting facts thereby misleading d general public. This is my stand |
Okay I meant Ijigbo road ends at new garage in front of the bank and not at Mattew. Now you pay tax cos you are an employess of an organisation. How many people in Ekiti pays tax? I mean those that dont work for a boss? And yet you compare the state with Ondo and Imo. Please you don't make me laugh
Tax evasion was not part of d subject matter. But lets dwell on it a bit. mechanisms against tax evasion and corruption is greatly at work in Ekiti state now. It started with education of artisans on tax. Increment in taxes. And,Electronic means of payment was introduced. Tax evasion is global phenomenon,it is govt responsibility not to allow it. |
Actually, your errors extend beyond that my friend. Ajilosun road ends on from of first bank There are a lot of roads that link both roads, you could go straight after Fajuyi, into old garage and turn, you can take an exit at Fajuyi and go through bank road where you take the exit besides Zenith bank and this will take you down and you will end up at mattew round about. Now answer mine about the taxes and revenues by the Ondo, Imo and Ekiti state governments
First bank,Cathederal and Ijigbo are Ajilosun road? It is d same thing as saying Ojumose and Okeyinmi part of Adebayo or Basiri road. I can't laugh pls. Tax issue?I'm liable to income tax,VAT and rates. My PAYE is deducted from source and remitted 2d state. My vehicle papers and tenement rate are up to date which i paid to the state revenue board. All VATable taxes have i paid from source and i believe it has been re-distributed to Ekiti from the federal purse. |
Seeing as you did not answer mine, I see no reasons why I should do same. And I am sorry if you too "incoherent" as an insult. It was not my intention
To the best of my knowledge, your question is where is Ajilosun-Adebayo road located in Ado-Ekiti? I have answer this by defining what Ajilosun and Adebayo roads are. I must confess an error of mine here that & instead of - ought to have been used in joining those roads |
How does Adebayo road join with Ajilosun? Seriously dude when they say Lagos-Ibadan, it means it connects lagos to Ibadan right? Stop being incoherent
LOL. I'm still awaiting answers to my poser. It is more matured and interesting when will deal with facts without being abusive. Kid does that |
k2039: Your post made zero sense,he only finished what Oni started, infact if Oni had been in office till december he would have commissioned it himself.Read btw d line. I wasn't saying i expected d road 2b completed by december,2010 but that d governor made a promise to that effect. And,if u aren't so convinced, pls enquire from media in the state because it was aired in the news for almost two days. Have u done this? |
There is nothing like Ajilosun-adebayo road dude. Where is it located? Plus that Ajilosun road construction started this year with the demolition of houses located on the road... If you are vast with Ado-Ekiti,u would have properly understand that Ajilosun road starts from Ikere road and ends at Matthew Roundabout. Adebayo road starts from Fajuyi Park down to Oporogboro. This is what I meant by Ajilosun-Adebayo road. My question,is the repair work going on these roads for the past two years completed? Remember, that the state road maintenance agency started d repair work on Ajilosun road almost immediately after d governor's inauguration by marking potholes and ditches on the road for maintenance. Later, they dug these portions and kept it for almost a year, thus making d road ALMOST impassable before the road was awarded to a new contractor April this year.Even with works going on,dead spots like Mobil roundabout is still more deadlier, yet Moferere junction down to ureje bridge or Mobil down to Agric Olope junction that has minor or no issue respectively were laced with Asphalt. I stand to be corrected,Ajilosun road has been constructed as dual carriage by another administration. What is going on there now is rehabilitation. If you like, call it construction,reconstruction,re-design or whatever,O.Y.O |
Richard2010: . Wots ur source sir?kindly read my last post carefully. |
Geomac: Fayemi became Ekiti governor in October, 2010, how could he have delivered Ado - Ifaki road by December, 2010? I think something is not right here. It seems you are lying or is it typo error?December 2010? Yes. U heard me right. He made the promise of delivering d road by DECEMBER 2010 two weeks after he was sworn in. Infact,he made the statement in front of the state's school of nursing(Ori Apata).I was there as a spectator. It was also aired. My claim is subject to verification. Media in the state can be consulted |
ijigbamigb: Sir, have you been to Ekit State before?Yet cost of education in ondo state universities are cheap to the extent that it is almost a quarter of what is obtain in ekiti university. Yet,IMO state is talking of FREE tertiary education. Affordable and quality tertiary education is possible, only if d govt is committed to it. I went 2d state hospital last month,i paid for my treatment. The dearth of medical professionals is on d increase in Ekiti state. It is over 2years now that d govt has been rehabilitating Ajilosun -Adebayo road. A road that took Fayose less than 3years to design, construct and finish as a dual carriage. Yet it took Fayemi more than 2years to rehabilitate d same road. Funny enough, the governor has gone on air to commission this road!Moreso,mr governor promised to deliver Ado-Ifaki road by DECEMBER,2010,yet d road is still under construction. The made d promise on its first inspection on the road. To the best of my knowledge,The state civil service commission is grounded financially due to non release of runny grant to it. This is so bad to the extent that it couldn't afford 12 sheets of typing papers to type my retiring dad's clearance letter. The man has to personally buy a bundle of typing sheet for the commission on monday. In as much as i won't subscribe to PDP's charcoal calling AC's pot black, facts must not be distorted. Truth must be exposed |
luluosas: Thank you. My weekend is slow as Glo is slowing my browsing using my LG GX500 phone as a modem.I'm so sorry about d inconvenience you are experiencing. Why not try other networks? U could got a bail out. Yeah,I'm ok. Thanks |
luluosas: Thank God for that. I was thinking you are MTN spy due to the tone of your comment.I was moved by how d guy was responding 2d CCR's questions. We are all human with blood flowing in our veins. Enjoy your weekend |
fitzmayowa: Could you please state out where some1 mentioned QA apart from youCould u tell me if QA is not d same as quality control as indicated by EXPONENTIAL on page one? As for me being a new guy in ilorin,i could only laugh. But before u kill yourself over what is not,I'm formerly of MEMCOS/APAPA(2009-2011)now of a federal agency@d centre of unity. Thank u for updating me on the new call centre in ilorin. Meanwhlie,i threw caution 2d wind cos I'm no longer binded by your professional brouhaha. Hope this will calm your tempered nerves,MR MTN,MR WARNER,MR ETIQUETTE,MR TEACHER,MR whatever? #catch me if u can# |
Spy? Very funny of u. Spy don't comment but read and feed his lords back. I'm unrepentant fan of nairaland luluosas: So, you be true true MTN spy here abi? |
Hello mr etiqutte,Save yourself those sermons.Check d thread from page 1 to see QA previously mentioned by others. As for my centre,u can make it your job to dig it out. Abeg let me pass. fitzmayowa: which of the online assistance centre do you work |
Just thank your star that I wasn't d CCR,I would have inform QA that u are becoming abusive, hence my need to end the call. Then,I will do you a big favour by 'exempting' you from using 180 for some hours,if not all through the day. That will calm and humble your burning nerves CCRs are human beings like you. They deserve being properly treated and addressed. #my attitude depends on how you treat me# |
Gari ! Hmmm. I never knew how wonderful you are until you made nairaland frontpage and became the first topic devoid of insult,name-calling and tribal attack. I support more of gari for the sanitation of NL. @post,yellow gari all the way |
Alore: - TheYet MTN could collaborate with its partner,CNSSL to render over 1700 people jobless at jos call centre by closing it down. The story and analysis would have been better if they had include this |
Yes, I have been banned before. It happened when NLC picketed MTN Jos Call centre in March and info about was went wrong was unknown thereby causing people to misinterpreted the issue. In my quest to set d record straight, i wrote an insider story ,only for me to be banned for 3days! I have since been guest on this forum. It was painful |
